no i LITERALLY couldn't stop replaying that scene at the beginning with all of the friends and marcus cuz it was like THE PERFECT dream for this show.....everyone is getting along, Marcus and Ginny (#Minny 🤭) are adorable together, and Max is supportive of it.....i didnt want the scene to end!!!!!😭

one of things i didnt like, but wasn't really a big deal since it didnt affect anyone really, was when Zion, Georgia and Paul were judging Marcus, saying that he might be a bad influence on Ginny and that she shouldnt be hanging out with him rn. Like I get Zion's point of view cuz he knew that she was in therapy and wanted her to work on it, but little did he know that Marcus has been her anchor and has been the most helpful for her in regards to her mental health. And also, Paul was saying that it was because of Marcus that Ginny was going out and shit.....MARCUS STAYS INSIDE.....its her friends that like to go out, not Marcus😭 don't judge Marcus cuz yall didnt know anything......sorry idk why im so passionate about this😭

Honestly…..Georgia is the reason that Marcus and Ginny broke up. I think she was jealous of Ginny and Marcus’s relationship so she decided to have a talk with him, and cause him to question himself and his self worth. Literally before Georgia and Marcus had those two big talks….Marcus was fine, ut then they talked and out of nowhere, he starts saying that Ginny shouldn’t love him, he’s damaged, and all this other painful shit. Now yes, he did lose his best friend right before season 1…..however, how the hell does that make him damaged? Unless there’s other shit going on that hasn’t been discussed, Marcus is not damaged. I think out of all the relationships that Ginny has with everyone in the show….her’s and Marcus is the most important and amazing because they understand each other and try to have realistic conversations. You could even tell how mature Marcus is compared to Max….when Ginny told the, that Georgia had a sister, Max was trying to make it into something funny, even suggesting that if Ginny’s family was on a reality tv show that she would watch it but….you could see that Ginny wasn’t trying to make jokes out of it….she was genuinely upset, Marcus recognized that and genuinely talked to her about it.
34:37 whew chile 💀💀💀I sobbed so hard, I sobbed so much at this scene. It nearly felt real, flaws and all, she loves her child and it broke her to see her hurting herself over....herself. (Georgia) I actually bawled my eyes out again in this scene all over again.
also the scene where Austin found the gun, I made an audible gasp out of fear it was going to go off. It genuinely scared me I thought he was going to get hurt, don't feel bad jumping, we all did.
And icl their acting is so amazing I mean a sob of the entire of when Georgia found out about Ginny like it felt so real and their relationship is so like a mother and daughter like this show is just so real.

I love Georgia , but I also really like Ginny, it’s sad that I feel like young women especially in media get so much criticism , like they aren’t allowed to be emotional or get in to fight wiry parents/ grown up or friends with out getting so hutch hate , yes Ginny has been a bitch to her mum friends and been a bad friend A’s should get repercussions but the hate is not on like we are all horrible to ppl sometimes even if it’s not intentional

i feel like many ppl hate on jinny because she ain't entertaining as georga. like georga is manipulative, cruel and all but she does it in a funny way and it's interesting to watch her while jinny is just real. social media doesn't like when ppl show their flaws and i guess same goes with series when they're made so similar to rl. jinny isn't even a character anyone should like, she's just a realistic representation of a teenager and i don't get why's important to like her, is this a contest?

YESS people always compare other ppl's problems, if it's not up to their standards of "bad trauma" that is worth being upset about then they just dismiss it, complain and say that person is overexaggerating or being a bratty person.
Which makes the person with the problem feel guilty about feeling sorry for themselves

before i found out about who Gil was, something stood out to me. When we first saw him, he decided to order in so Georgia could still take care of Ginny. That scene reminded me of a story my mom told me one time. When my mom was dating my dad (technically step dad but I call him my dad bc he raised me), she and him talked and said she couldn’t date him bc she had to take care of me, i was her main priority etc (there was a lot of shit that happened between my mom and birth father). My dad understood her situation, and from then on I was always brought on their dates. That's when my mom said to herself that she was going to marry him. Gil is a good dad to Austin and Ginny, but Gil was just SO HORRIBLE to Georgia later on. They could've been so good together, but I'm glad Gil and Georgia are not together. If they were I would be so scared if Gil would eventually hurt Georgia just like her step father did when she was a kid. sorry about the rant lol.

Okay I thought Maxine was annoying in Season 1 especially in the first episode, but she got way more annoying by season 2…..and as someone who’s a lesbian who has also experienced heartbreak as well…..I can proudly say that I never went about it the way Max did. I feel like Max’s only storyline that was dragged for too long, is her wanting and having a girlfriend….like the producers really need to do something with her storyline. Part of me feels like she and Ginny could end up together but idk.
