    Mate, you are a gem. Thank you! Starting up my winterized RV to chase the 2024 eclipse and...no water! Thanks to you, problem solved. Lovely Welsh (?) accent as well. Cheers.

    This solved my problem, turns out the guy who installed the tank didn't fit the inline filter and it was full of plastic shavings from the Fiamma water tank. Thanks mate, I owe you a beer or 5.

    Thankyou so so much for this video!!
    We purchased a brand new pump with the intention of replacing our Shureflo pump. We did the tap method and voila!! It started to work.
    You have saved us over 200 dollars!!
    Cheers!!

    Tried the "tapping with a rubber mallet" while running and "Praise Jesus" it started working and drained the whole fresh water tank. I'm ready to go. It helped to say a little prayer first.

    Will give that a try as exactly the same issue.....and pump is only 8 months old ,but the seller I bought it off on ebay isn't interested in any warranty Guarantee, said its more trouble than its work dealing with the Shurflo Company 😮

    What did you do with the grub screw and was that the reason it worked?

    Could this same thing possibly happen on a Remco pump? And could battery also have something to do with it?

    • @cleanmateltd737
      @cleanmateltd737  Год назад +1

      Hi Mr Mo Pressure, yes this can happen with a Remco pump but when you say battery, do you mean there is no noise coming from the pump at all when you initially turn on the power? Is there any display on your control unit (If one present) please subscribe to my channel. It really helps support me. Thank you 👍

    My pump was last installed vertically the other way with diaphram up. Can I install like you have here and hook it up to flow in the opposite direction?

    • @cleanmateltd737
      @cleanmateltd737  9 месяцев назад

      Hi David yes you can. We have other vehicles with the pump mounted upright and they work great. This particular vehicle has the pump mounted this way as It came to us already set up this way. It is recommended to mount it as in the video however just in case in the unlikely even the pump leaks and water gets into the motor. Hop this helps and please remember to like and subscribe to my channel it really helps us to grow. Thanks for your support

    So if its broken the first thing your gonna wanna do is hit it with a hammer 😂. But really this was very educational. I use these every day so its nice to know how to maintain them.

      I know it seems odd doesn't it haha. I first remembered this from a plumber coming to my parents house many years ago (not that I'm old or anything) and he hit the central heating water pump and it started working. Sometimes it's only a temporary fix but If it's because the pump hasn't been used for a while it unseizes it and works long term. Please like and subscribe to my channel it really helps support the growth and thanks for watching/commenting
