Makes sense. Bubblegum is clove, cinnamon, wintergreen, vanilla, anise, banana, pineapple. Rootbeer is similar minus the banana/pineapple. You add the lemon to the rootbeer and it is very close to bubblegum recipe. The ratios are probably off but your tongue recognizes the familiar taste.

I remember this old one flaming dr.pepper take one shot of Amaretto almost to the top leave alittle room for a splash of bacardi 151. Then grab a 64oz plastic cup pore a full beer of Miller lite or budlight, after that, grab your shot and take a lighter and lite up your shot drop it in the 64oz cup with the 12oz beer and drink it. Also you will only need three or four drinks and you will be pretty straight.
