I put this in the description and made a post about this weeks ago, but some of you still don’t seem to get it.
This video is me finishing what I started. It’s my last video on Rob.
Mob mentality is WRONG no matter what side you’re on.
DO NOT send any hate to Rob. There is a big difference between one person saying something and thousands.
That was one of the biggest criticisms in my original video.

Imo you should reach out to Chapman privately if you haven’t already. Not saying your points about him weren’t valid, but I’m really uncomfortable with all of this now. From this post it sounds like you are too.
The fact that you allowed the drama to continue instead of saying “ok look just because I exposed some aspect of Rob Chapman does not mean that you should hate Rob himself” instead of waiting a solid month to see what unraveled, Dovydas, Mike the Knight, Levi Clay and etc ended having more views, more subscribers all while adding nothing new, that you yourself could’ve actually have equally to what they just earned from this drama alone.

Chiharu Takahashi I think KDH had every reason to post the first video, and to be annoyed by Chapman’s ridiculous reply video and to respond to that. However, it’s all gone too far now and I’m sure KDH isn’t comfortable with where it’s all got to.

I'd be very surprised if that was accidental.
I grew up with Rob as a main guide in guitarplaying. I always thought he was a great dude but he seemed to be less and less genuine over time. I stopped following him as closely and the latest years have not followed him at all really.
What he's done lately has just made me fucking sad. If he played his cards right he would've been a genuinely great presence on the Internet and for guitarists.
So glad we still have Ola (which seems like he's always been a stand up dude)

Ola kinda got a content cop on him. But that was about quality control for his guitar brand. Bounced back well from it because the issues weren't really anything out of the normal. @Dean M The defence that it was a joke would be pretty weak even if it was on a normal video. His regular viewers may be aware he owns that company but there will always be viewers who are watching you for the first time who don't know. But it wasn't on a normal video.
The video that we're talking about was one made targeting people who are not musicians. It was a gift guide of what to buy guitarists for Christmas. Guitar players don't watch those videos, family and friends do. Therefore most of the viewers would have no idea who he is. All they know is that this guy is making a video about the best gifts to buy a guitar player and that these pedals that he has gone out of his way to state he has no affiliation with are some of the best he's ever played.

Good on you mate. I was a fan or Rob's and would like to be again one day but I really think he just keeps on digging himself in deeper and deeper. If he was just honest and admitted he messed up and apologised to the people involved I personally would forgive him but his "truth" video was just total BS as excellently pointed out in this video. And I couldn't agree more, sending the guy hate is the absolute wrong way to go about it. I don't think Rob is a bad person I just think he has made some bad decisions and owning it would go a long way to repair some of the damage.

davemis40 I looked into this. I still can’t work out the basis for his claim in any normal sense of “in the charts”. It’s something to do with appearing on iTunes chart for a few hours. Chapman has a video of Monkey Lord being 6th in the iTunes chart on the day of release. It promptly vanished and was ranked something like position 150 for one week only. Strange how he knew exactly the moment to screen shot the chart when Monkey Lord reached its highest placing. Suffice to say it doesn’t take many sales all at the same time to push up a record for a few minutes. Nor does it take many sales to get up the Amazon chart briefly. My neighbour did it an he’s a nobody. The “in the charts” quote shows how conceited, dishonest, and ultimately insecure Chapman can be.
