Grandpa! Was Grandpa the ghostie in the mines all this time. Yay for trees being in the way of the cutscene! Oops, fiber in the way of crops. Animals are like FREEDOM! Mmmmm....coffee.... Gasp, wasted seed. Yeah, spring one is always difficult to get everything done in when you have so much planting that can be done now.
Immediately questioned why the Jade was put in that chest. Your tree farm looks more impressive than mine does. I need to really work on getting mine back in order. Ugh, I hate the leek quest. Mountain tree farm.... I keep forgetting to do that.
First day of the year. That means hoeing, watering, and planting seeds. Once that was done, animals and artisan goods. I also cut some grass to fill up the silo. Raccoons got some slime. I picked up a weekly task - potatoes - but it was too late to get started on it. I took care of the tree farm and got Grandpa's reward. I moved some rainbow trout from one pond to the new ones. I did a few other things that are slipping my mind, but I went to bed on time.
Today I took care of the animals and artisan goods. I then bought and planted the 12 potatoes for the weekly quest. Then it was of to the island. After stopping by to drop stuff off, I took a trip to the volcano. I needed to collect some more cinder shards but this didn't take a lot of time. I then went up to the forge and crafted the Infinity Blade! I brought my Prismatic shards with me but I didn't have the cinder shards to upgrade anything yet. So I went back into the volcano to hunt. When it was starting to get late, I gathered up my stuff and went back to the mainland since I forgot to put a scarecrow by my potatoes. I had also picked up a leek to make a recipe. Back home I made the recipe. I decided to sell all of my cooked food except for a few special ones. There wasn't much time left in the day, so I ended up going to bed early. Did not make a lot of money selling food. This is why I don't really cook in this game. I'm sure there are some instances where it's a good idea, but I think overall it's better not to cook.

Cooking isn't really worth it for making money (although you can make some money), but the best is just generating food for healing or buffs.
