I'm actually the real-life guy that's at the airport like "ye...yeh yeh yeah YASS!". I'm an aviation nerd and love commercial aircraft so.... I'm the guy who's at my best at an airport. Recently I experienced a long flight delay after pushback, still sitting on the apron and all the other passengers were getting all upset. I was psyched because I was able to guess why there were problems. Storms across the east coast had deleted our approved flight path and they needed to calculate and approve another set of waypoints, allowing for other traffic in the corridors etc. It gets complicated and it is a real thing. I guessed that was the problem. it was that and I was right. I'm the worst and I know that about myself.
I love airplanes, but I'm a mega nerd.

I've actually seen people post "Don't kys by jumping in front of a train. It's goddamn cold out here, you'll leave us waiting for our train and also you're traumatizing innocent conductors" to their story in winter as if the first thing they thought of was it being cold and them not wanting to wait. Makes me hate humanity sometimes.
I get where it comes from, though. I've heard of more incidents involving people on tracks in this year than my whole life (I wish I was exaggerating) and it is frustrating if you are late because of that, but you know... we'd rather be waiting than gone.
Yeah, when I first moved to NYC and didn't really have places to be, I thought it was pretty dark the way people would talk about train deaths. But a couple years in, like, there are ways to do it without fucking everyone else up to

It probably would be okay to ignore the dead guy. That is until he's become fully relaxed and his bowels empty. Then you not only have a flight in-transit, but it now has to land and the wait will be even longer. The flight will likely spend time doing a routine maintenance check, refueling, and realigning their flight travel plan with communications systems since air space can be shared at a given time.
Get rid of the dead guy when the plane is still on the ground. There'll be a wait, but it won't be as bad as if the flight had already been in the air.
