Everytime I watch Terrace house, it really shows how obsessed Japanese people are with working and accomplishing something. I am not saying anything is wrong with that but they tend to look down on people that aren't like that. A good example is when I went to Spain, it was completely different. They work hard but they also are a very relaxed culture and believe in enjoying life outside of work. I am more on the side of living your life to be happy, not everyone's happiness will be career driven.

@@cateve3757 I'm sorry if I sounded disrespectful. I am Japanese too. And I'm saying this because I've lived both inside and outside Japan. Probably it was the wording I used and sorry for that but believe me, no one hates stereotyping Japanese people more than I, I've been a victim of it forever. Even if statistics say that suicide rates isn't so high the way of living here can be so toxic you know. I love the country seriously but there's a better way of living life. The fact that someone took her own life because of the bashing she got over the net, the bullying I witnessed when I was a student here. I mean just the way they Haruka laughed at Ruka for trying is just so wrong and that being okay in Japan is not "okay" dude. And just to be clear I've got awesome Japanese friends too and I know for a fact that not all of them are like this but the country still got a long way to go.

@@222_______________78 I have also experienced life outside of Japan.
What country did you live in?
I have a question for you.
Which country is a mature country with an ideal lifestyle and a high quality of life?
Naturally, a mature country with a high quality of life should have a lower suicide rate than Japan and fewer crime incidents than Japan.
Bullying and racial discrimination using the Internet are also common in the West.

Here are some countries with higher suicide rates among young people than Japan.
      ↓ ↓ ↓
      Crude suicide rates(per 100 000 population) 2019年 WHO
Japan 15-29 years old 13.54 people
USA 15-29 years old 17.72 people
Sweden 15-29 years old 14.57 people
Finland 15-29 years old 18.47 people
Iceland 15-29 years old 14.6 people
New Zealand 15 to 29 years old 13.92 people
Russia 15 to 29 years old 19.38 people
Australia 15-19 years old 10.22 people
Japan 15-19 years old 7.84 people
(There are also countries in South America with higher suicide rates than Japan.)
      >Even if statistics say that suicide rates isn't so high the way of living here can be so toxic you know.
What? The suicide rate is not high, but Japanese people's lives are toxic?
Then why did you write in your first comment that " they just work hard then kill their self eventually becoz, mental issues."?
Please be specific as to how it is toxic.

I don't think Japan is a perfect country, but if Japan is as bad as you describe, there is no way that 80%-90% of Japanese would want to be born as a Japanese if they could be born again.
On the basis of your personal experience and the occasional news article, writing things like "they don't know how to manage their life. they dont know how to work hard and play hard. they just work hard then kill their self eventually becoz, mental issues."is prejudice, hate speech and harassment against all Japanese people.

Are you really Japanese? It's easier to write comments in Japanese than in English, so let's write in Japanese next time.
By the way, didn't you write about your prejudice against Japan in the comment section of another Japan-related video?
