I rooted for them so much. I kind of saw myself in Kaori, and thought Shohei would be a perfect partner for her. They may have different outlooks on life and work, but they were perfectly capable of doing their own stuff, and supporting each other. From what we could see from the outside, misunderstandings and timing got in the way. It broke my heart to watch this, it was such a realistic build up and they seemed so sincere. Nothing flashy, no fake intensity, just two people curious about each other.
