EDIT: it was just an observation that I had made (no shade on him at all bc we stan jacob !!) but looking back on it I don't think he's promoted many of his things actively and now that some interviews he's done have come out/the movie I can see that he really did look like he was enjoying himself (especially in the bloopers- the slideshow!!). I just wish he wasn't in Australia bc maybe he'd be a bit more active like the rest of the cast in promoting.

I know like he hasn’t even posted anything about it on insta, smh. Like he’s literally a main character. Other than him not wanting to be associated with the film, my best guess is that he and Joey were dating in real life, but then broke up. It’s probably awkward for them.

@@obiajulumgbechi i think its more that Euphoria is seen as a more serious with heavy stuff in the show and like it was revered by critics and viewers while The Kissing Booth isn't really seen as such with it being kinda geared towards a different audience and isn't praised by critics or the majority of society as a serious movie with serious issues and stuff. it is a little unprofessional but like I think he just wants to be viewed as a more serious actor who participates in critically acclaimed series and movies.
