The Division and LMB are different. 1. LMB massacred civilians who they deems a threat. 2. LMB used its immense resources on only military and the Division used it on engineering, medical care, military, finding a cure, rescue ops, restoring the city. 3. Instead of restoring the city back to normal and vaccinating the civilians, the LMB focused on establishing a military dictatorship. 4. LMB took civilians hostage. Though they are similar as well. 1. I'm sure many division agents would gun down civilians if the game let them. I mean many don't have any issue with shooting other agents for gear and trinkets.
There has to be more to the LMB in Division 2. I thought so back before 1.1 The military ranks the LMB uses is fairly low. Even their "leader" is just a LtCol. An 0-5 is a pretty high rank to most in the military, but as far as being the figure head of an occupying paramilitary group, you'd think he would have given himself the rank of General. And this goes for the rest of the LMB bosses. The bosses all hold a rank that implies there is some else higher ranking and stronger. Like most of the bosses in Underground are SGTs, 1stLt, CPL, or Captain.
Racer Lex after looking at some division 2 gameplay, i’ve seen the name “true sons” a couple times. i think it could be a different enemy type similar to the lmb
'True sons' aren't going to replace the LMB they are just going to be a different faction. The LMB is (hopefully) going to be in the division 2. The other side is that Bliss is using his Military rank and so are the other leaders, as all LMB memebers are ex-military
IMO Hunters are third wave agents, in a deeper sect within the division. It looks like they joined in survival as survival is quite late into the story chronologically and it takes place after order is resolved and Lt Col Bliss is killed it makes complete sense that the division agents in the operation are too much of a liability for the government. They saw what happened to the first wave and the second wave is just as likely to revolt. The 'third wave' or the 'Hunters' as we know them are specially trained to kill other division agents and are only called in TO kill division agents. They may not even be a 'wave' maybe some special force sent in to 'clean up' after division operations. You can see how reluctant the government is to call in new agents as they split them into waves. Maybe the hunters are well aware that they will die after their 'task' is complete and are willing to do so. Therefore once the 'Hunters' job is done there will be zero division agents and 100% government control.
I’ve always love the last man battalion. Not what they do, but they’re a cool idea. They’re also quite difficult. Thanks for the lore update again. It’s nice to have these in a compact video. Thanks. P.s. Can I get a third heart for your third faction lore video?

Watching your Videos makes me realize, how much potential Massive has missed with the lore of this game. It would have been great to get more named characters in the LMB - especially the new commander after Bliss death. Also I (and possibly a majority of the players) have neutralized more LMB than any other faction in the game - doesn't fit with the lore.
LMB seem to be the strongest of the factions from what I and most people I play with feel. Cleaners are easy kills and Rikers are just face-tanking robots. You can see that LMB is stronger when you play survival or do an Open World boss run.

Interesting very interesting. You know why? Because all of it fits perfectly. Keener in dc means lmb in dc. But there is no military faction for the division 2 confirmed. Only a New rikers faction, I think the lmb is not giving up, they Will not do that. Because they want honor, and keener is the target. And then You have that government both jtf are probably gonna betray us all, your last line confirmed it for me. I think with the division 2 they are setting up the division 3. We are not getting a happy end. Also good Job again, very interesting. What I am saying at the end of the division 2 You storm the capitol, I bet when we are done we get some tanks and choppers on our minds because the president Will have decleared the division is a threat to the state. These guys like the Helghast are basically dressed as modern day Nazis if you think about it. I mean, who else wears red arm bands with the intention to instill totalitarianism? 🤷♂️😂
The sincerity footage of the guy getting shot in the store gets wackier and wackier the more I watch it. Seriously, the dude acts so nonchalant about getting shot in the chest. People have been knocked on their asses by small handguns shooting something like 9x19mm. And this dude takes a bullet from a Glock and just steps back a little bit. Sure he eventually lays down but that’s after he’s been shot. The whole scene is just wacky.
Once again great content, LMB are one of my more hated enemies. Nice to see their side of the story, and I'm curious how or if they show up in The Division 2.
Because I am indy most of the vehicles weren’t able to function either. That’s why you don’t see people hijack cars, none of them work. If you listen he talks about finding a working app at the power plant
I think the Last Man Battalion was the badass private military company I seen, they have the best tactical gear and training. They were trying to control or defend the city, but the JTF and the Division stop them.
If I were to make every faction playable in the game I can something like... The LMB are good in fine weapons weapons, amour and in tactics with heavy equipment The Cleaners best with fire attacks and are immune to chemical attacks also perfect in medicine in killing the disease The Rioters greater in numbers, prefer to use guerrilla warfare tactics to win fights, and are quite resourceful on whatever they can get their hands on The Rykers prefer to go guns blazing and use drugs for an edge in melee combat
The division, at least the second wave differ from the LMB because they safe guard civilians. There are no examples of bliss’s policy of ‘better to shoot an innocent than to let a guilty man escape’ in the second wave’s rules of engagement
Well honestly they should of made the game where you could choose what faction you want to be part of so that your character alone has a interesting back story from the beginning. if i could choose id join the LMB
look love the video but we all know why the last man battalion was destroyed they are made out to be the bad guys which i dont see whenever i played the division i always wanted to be on there side but in a irl scenario the lmb would of easily crushed any other organisation even with the limitations with supplies
As someone who served in the Army I can assure you that the city most certianly would have fallen regardless. Holding a city the size of New York under the conditions stated within the game would be next to impossible and bleed through resources and manpower like crazy.
@@bioshocker3206 I'm sorry I meant to say that the JTF wouldn't have scarce resources like they do in the game. Because they make it seem like the JTF is extremely weak compared to all the other factions in the game when really the military is way much powerful then any faction including the LMB. And speaking of the JTF I can only imagine that there referring to the Joint Task Force Empire Shield or at least that's the one that we have in the game.
@@aaroncrawford7884 No problem, and yeah while the JTF is portrayed to be a lot weaker than its real world counterparts within Empire Shield would naturally be in this situation the idea behind why things are going so wrong for them do make sense.

Considering how they tend to link their franchise's together. What I really want to know is what certain other groups are doing out in the world during the crisis
Dude i love this lore breh if theres new clan or groups like LMB and cleaners they should have a new group where they should have a new military group called the black Knight military force and the leader should be one of the ex first wave of division agents
Division is part of the governments forces and its mandate comes from government (the same as military, police, and other forces of the state). And to some extent, Division agents are expected to ANSWER to the government. LMB on the other hand is a mercenary group, wich overstepped its mandate grievely, and is basicaly only a band of vigilliantes, expected to answer to no-one, except its command and its custommers. No matter how high and mighty its boss is, the fact he encurages violence on innocent civilians as preventive measures is very diminishing his "honour" in my eyes.
I think they were planning to because if you ever go underground or in the dark zone, you can hear lmb soldiers talk about how bliss was planning to convince the jtf to join them.

These guys like the Helghast are basically dressed as modern day Nazis if you think about it. I mean, who else wears red arm bands with the intention to instill totalitarianism? 🤷♂️😂
Bliss is a leader that every soldier would want by his side.
FUCK SECURITY, I MENT TO SAY SECURITY FOOTAGE FUCK!
Once again great content, LMB are one of my more hated enemies. Nice to see their side of the story, and I'm curious how or if they show up in The Division 2.
Good video love your channel!
Cheers dude :-)
Another awesome video. Keep 'em coming brother
I love the quip at 10:38
I always loved the inital noise sent out before an announcement by the LMB on the streets.
Kinda reminds me of Big Boss and Outer Heaven
One thing that always stuck in my mind, why LMB just not use all the Tanks lying around New York?! and go through all the trouble to find 1 APC!!
Because I am indy there’s not enough fuel in NYC for vehicles which is why you only see a few vehicles.
Jesus Christ that doesn't explain why they won't just pick 1 APC in the street
Because I am indy most of the vehicles weren’t able to function either. That’s why you don’t see people hijack cars, none of them work. If you listen he talks about finding a working app at the power plant
I think the Last Man Battalion was the badass private military company I seen, they have the best tactical gear and training. They were trying to control or defend the city, but the JTF and the Division stop them.
Two groups from Division 1 I hate, and gladly go rouge in order to exterminate:
Cleaners and LMB.
the camera footage are sick, i could watch an hour of the lore and found footage
Ok this settles it. I´m subscribing you´ve convinced me. You´re fucking amazing.
Can I just say the LMB and the cleaners are the 2 best enemy’s in the game
yeah roitrs and rikers aren’t different the are both criminals
I always loved the lmb fight music
If I were to make every faction playable in the game I can something like...
The LMB are good in fine weapons weapons, amour and in tactics with heavy equipment
The Cleaners best with fire attacks and are immune to chemical attacks also perfect in medicine in killing the disease
The Rioters greater in numbers, prefer to use guerrilla warfare tactics to win fights, and are quite resourceful on whatever they can get their hands on
The Rykers prefer to go guns blazing and use drugs for an edge in melee combat
The music and the LMB was badass!!! Reminds me of the Movie THE ROCK.
Oooh, this is lit.
:)
this is fantastic thanks Biden for triggering my division ptsd and making me search "dark winter"
Lol, "some would say, repetitive battle...."
I never shot the LMB unless deemed necessary. They are trying to save the city too.
Good video man keep it up.
You know, at least Ferro has a reason for being a psychopath, it is common for loss to push people over the edge. Bliss is just frigging nuts.
I hope we see these guys come back in Episode 3
If only the actual US military was in the division I'm pretty sure New York wouldn't fall
@@bioshocker3206 yeah I understand what you mean. God forbid something like this from actually happening.
This is very interesting thanks for putting this together. Question what gear are you using?
I think I was just using a 5 piece tactician, inventive backpack build.
Thanks!
Bliss faught in The Gulf War before be left to join the LMB
Well It seems according to the Warlords of New York Animated Trailer that either the JTF is making use of LMB equipment or some LMB members Join the JTF as their equipment say JTF.
Considering how they tend to link their franchise's together. What I really want to know is what certain other groups are doing out in the world during the crisis
LMB is still my fav enemy faction across both ganes
Now let’s hope for division 3 cause this stuff is cool and keeps me playing
Amazing Video!
Love these videos!
Dude i love this lore breh if theres new clan or groups like LMB and cleaners they should have a new group where they should have a new military group called the black Knight military force and the leader should be one of the ex first wave of division agents
Dude itll be cool right
The main bosses in Div 1 hit different.
I kinda would want to join the LMB haha
Wolffe I’m with you.
7:50 the division player : YOU DO WHAT?
Great video
*TIME PARADOX*
Aaron Keener missed when hitting the VTOL with his missiles!?!?!?😂😂
I swear every division game has a private military thing like the black tusks in the 2nd one
There's two games, you're making this as if there's been 6 games and they've all got a PMC faction.
End theme?
Damn man , What if JTF AND LMB were friends and fight against the other factions
I think they were planning to because if you ever go underground or in the dark zone, you can hear lmb soldiers talk about how bliss was planning to convince the jtf to join them.
@@leodominguez3810 lol , 4 years later man 🤣
@@tarotarani3709 lol I know but bliss is dead lol and they don't know yet. Dark zone has no comms with anyone outside the walls and underground idk lol
Great video 👍
Man i fucking love the LMB
Damn makes me want to go back and play this game lol
do a background vid on the story of the character you play?
NGN you deserve more subs
Thanks buddy, I appreciate it :-)
The division is not a private army like the LMB, it is a specialised government unit, for dealing with especially high level threats to the government
Well the diference is the LMB is a Private army, they figth for the money BUT blitz was a man who knew what was happening and tried to help in the unic way he knows with war
