Epic haul! I would love both of those big boxsets. One day 🤞 I personally think Antichrist is amazing and possibly Lars Von Trier's best film. On the Graduate, I honestly think the first hour or so, is one of the best films of the 60s , if not of all time. I agree that the second half, whilst still good, doesn't match up to the first and prevents it from being a masterpiece in my eyes, although I do tend to revisit the film most years. Always good to see a video from you guys. Cheers 👍

Very nice Criterion haul! I'm not familiar with most of these titles but I recently picked up Memories of Murder and absolutely loved it and it was worth the wait to finally see a good movie about the Korean Zodiac killer. I only own 10 Criterion's now but that's mostly because I'm more into horror and their catalog is vast in all genres. Enjoyed the video guys!

I loved Memories of Murder, I got the Bong Joon Ho boxset and all of his films so far have been fantastic. I have yet to see Barking dogs never bite but it sounds interesting.

Nice haul. I have a few of those same pickups including those 2 box sets. Have not watched the Won Kar Wai set yet so don't have a favourite yet.... was a calculated blind buy lol. Agree on Darjeeling Limited. It's definitely underrated. I certainly prefer it to The Life Aquatic (for example). My favorite Wes Anderson film probably remains Moonrise Kingdom but honestly they are all brilliant in their own way.

@@amateurfilmies8844 oh you are in for a treat then. Moonrise kingdom is brilliant...quirky and atmospheric and has a great story and characters...ok that sounds like all Wes Anderson films lol. What I mean is that to me stylistically this is the definitive Wes Anderson film where all those Wes things were at their best. That's my humble opinion anyway. Grand Budapest not far behind.
Some like it hot is a film i didn't think i would like but watched it on tv and thought it was great, Not seen The Parallax view but would like to check it out, the Seventies were great for those type of films, in fact will stick that film on my wish list, thanks Matt.
