I’ll just speak from my own experience, I’m from a lower income household in the uk, my dad worked a marine industry job and is now paying the price for the eight hours of manual labour each day.
My mum, who I do love dearly, did not work, myself and my sister would go to school, my mum would clean the house on a Monday, do the laundry and the cooking, she helped with my homework.
But laundry doesn’t take that long, cleaning a house can be done in a day, the cooking was shared. We struggled with bills forever. My mum would spend the majority of her day watching soap operas, getting coffee and going on dog walks with her friends.
The imbalance of work load was significant.
I now find myself almost thirty, I work a similar job and earn under 30k a year, rent and housing in this country is insane, and I absolutely never want to take the same path as my father did.
I don’t want to be the only breadwinner for a struggling family, I don’t want a wife to clean a house while I break my back. I’d much prefer a career woman who can share the financial load. Then we can hire childcare to take up the slack.
I have no interest in an old fashioned male led family, I want a partner equal to me in every way.
As for this video, that young man was completely out of order pushing his views of womanhood to young women who had just worked their asses off for a degree. Who wanted to be respected by their male peers and were excited to enter the workforce. And Tucker should not be berating Taylor for her reaction, she is within her rights to react to the video just as we are.

I have never wanted children because of addiction issues. I would never bring a child into the world unless I was able to provide them with warm and nurturing surroundings. It's tough enough for children as it is without subjecting them to a chaotic and unstable household, children are too precious to tainted by an inadequate parenting. Aside from those points the world this generation will inherit from us will have lower living standards and an increasingly polluted environment. In the 70's and 80's a family could own a house in the suburbs, have a car and could send children to college all with the wages of one parent, that lifestyle is no longer possible so even with the best of intentions it is difficult to financially provide for your children, I agree that you are truly blessed.

    • @Ninjanimegamer
      @Ninjanimegamer 4 месяца назад

You had kids at a time when the economy was booming. Between the 50's-80's the market was up, the cost of living was low and money flowed. (There were some rough patches, but the economy recovered quickly). People had money to save, invest, and spend. A family of 4 could live comfortably on $40,000/yr, but by the 80's, most households had both parents working, bringing in at least $80,000. So keeping up with the Jones' and the me generation became the thing. The middle class was growing strong. Families bought bigger houses, took vacations, had two cars, and paid for college. I know, because I lived through this time period, I've seen the statistics, and I was taught by my parents how to invest.
Guess how much is needed for a single unmarried and childless person to live in an apartment on their own in West Virginia or Arkansas, (the least expensive states)?
$79,000/yr and this is for just one person.
In the most expensive states of CA + NYC, a single person needs to earn $116,000 to live alone in an apartment.
Long gone are the days where a retail job could get you an apartment with a couple of roommates.
There are 30+ retailers closing stores, which is due to a lack of spending.
That's a lot of people getting laid off. The warehouses, distribution centers, corporate offices, manufacturing factories, processing plants, truckers and distributors, and the retail store clerks are all losing their jobs.
The average house in 1980 was $47,000. The average price of a house today is $420,000.
Since you think kids are important, it takes an additional $16,000 per year for 18 years ($300,000) to raise just one kid.
Very few people make enough to afford a house, nevermind a child.
What kind of life will the children have when they grow up? All the big box stores will be closed, and only stores online will exist. People are being replaced by machines everyday. How many jobs will be available to the kids in the future? Prices continue to increase, who will be able to afford to live?
There aren't many resources left now. We are facing a food and water shortage, oil and natural gas are running low, and pollution levels are increasing.
This world isn't what it once was.
Be lucky you grew up and had a family when you did, but don't expect others to be able to live your lifestyle.

The problem is that the atmosphere in this country has become so toxic, and women talked into the lifestyle of slaving away for a soulous corporation is supported and family is not. It has turned women toxic in most cases.
To find a decent woman I could trust and would act correctly I had to leave the country.

The last 12 years as a parent have been the most meaningful, purposeful, fulfilling, and joyful years OF MY ENTIRE LIFE! I would not trade it for anything. Children teach us how to truly love, unconditionally and unapologetically, how to forgive, and how to sacrifice our selfish whims for a better and higher purpose.

Some will defer, some will agree your problem is when people dont think like a bigot and have the same beliefs as them then younare judged. I know women who dont want kids and I know wokan who want as many as they can. I dont judge either one because I believe in true freedom. Not selective freedom.

She appears to be comfortable in her life and career so your comments don't make any sense, esp as your comments are clearly for the purpose of convincing people she is a miserable Democrat despite the fact she has a supercharged career, all the money she could possibly need, and a full social life.
