Awesome instruction. Thanks for the video, Ben! I had a class on this stuff today at the Sig Sauer Academy, it's called "reflexive shooting." They have you tape over or take off your sights (for the Sig gun guys they hand out sightless slides). Then they teach you to aim the gun using body mechanics. A lot of fun to learn, and surprisingly fast and effective if you don't overthink it. I was always tempted to over-push in my transitions. Also, a fellow student let me shoot his P320 with an optic: 1) I'm thankful it didn't explode (haha) 2) I got to get an optic, it's straight-up cheating and I had no previous experience with one but was hitting 6" knock-down plates at 10yds easily. Was struggling a little with irons
The range I usually practice at has yet to allow holster draws(yeah I know), so I run this drill a lot. It's particularly nice to throw a plate rack or some small popper in there as well.
Love this drill. I have been following your videos and using your drills the last couple months. Also bought practical shooting training and have already seen improvements in my skills but even more so in my mindset. Thanks!
Hey Ben , how does a person know when they are ready to compete in uspsa? This may be a good video subject to explore just asking because I feel I am almost there but still on the fence about competing
The statements from 2:40 to 3:01 is like flipping on a light switch for me. Very insightful.

Current Ben reminds me of Mike Damone from Fast Times

If you’re able to be safe, you’re ready.
Yep, if you're safe and hungry to learn, yesterday was the right day to get started.
Ha , I get it. I need to just get after it. Thanks for the encouragement.
