Thanks Ben. No one else is doing what you do on RUclips to the extent that you are doing it. Not all of us can afford to pay for classes like yours or to travel to them. What you're doing for the sport is priceless.
Just watched the vid where dude brings Pit vipers to class and you fell in love. Great content man. Your no BS attitude and straight shooting got my sub.
Hey Ben. practical shooting newbie here. Came to this channel through Lucas/Trex video on Instagram. Bought the Practical Shooting book. Listening carefully to the videos, and have scheduled dry fire practice every week. I am hooked!...Thank you for all the great teaching and info you put out there, much appreciated! It is nice to know that my shooting has a good foundation to build on.
@@zen-Tii I didn't mind the rain, as I used to ride my bike for hours on end in it back in the day. It is the extreme left inanity that made me never want to move back ever again.
The little nuggets you drop resonate with me, thank you. One of my biggest issues is rushing the shots on the last target before moving to the next shooting position. Any drills to help with that issue?
You know what you’re doing wrong just work on it in a basic transition drill. Or make the last target partially covered so you have to slow down. Or make the last target a small plate so you can hear the hit and confirm you did it right. Sorry thinking of this stuff on tire fly suddenly.
Like the others have said - do transition drills. Stoeger has a book "Dryfire Reloaded" that has a lot of drills just for that kind of stuff. It'll explain setup, goals, expectations, and offer little nuggets of how-to. Excellent book, everyone should get it and the "Practical Pistol Reloaded" book. Hope that helps!

Hey Ben, I've been doing your doubles drill for a few practice sessions. Should I be shooting it at 7 yards until I can ace the drill, or should I also practice it at greater distances even though I suck at it? Thank you.

To start out the way you are doing here with Ben and company, is a real leg up!
Your channel is great because you have many short discussion videos uploaded frequently
As always great stuff. I´ll run it by Instructor Zero and if he approves I´ll take it to the range.
Bruh. The 1st drill! Candela! 🔥 Love it, homeboy!
Good old Seattle rain, couldn't pay me to move back there though.
I moved away from western Oregon. I wouldn’t go back to that dreary weather either.

Liked for the algorithm. Thanks!
So good. Thank you so much.

@@swiftaudiyou’re right tho. Set up a headshot only target as the exit target to practice throttle control is how I do it

Ocular scientists hate this one weird trick!
Hey Ben why do you prefer in-ears vs electronic over the ears? Just curious.
They taste better.
@@elcaminante29 🤣
Likely because they provide better protection.

Can’t cover hair like that with ear muffs.

Great video!! Transitions are the bane of my existence😢. What was the approximate distance between these targets and distance from you??
They’re the bane of our society, at the moment. You’re not alone.
@@AJohnSmith Thank you Sir ‼️

Honest question, what are you doing with your hearing protection at your mouth?
I think he wets them so they're easy to remove without yanking on the ear drum. There can be a nasty suction feeling.
Is being a doctor sexually transmitted now?
According to the “reproductive sport physiology”, yes, yes it is.
