Howdy SlowGazers! Sometimes you just gotta make videos for you... and have fun with it! Sorry I didn't document the "before". I usually keep my closet curated and tidy (because I spend a lot of time in there thinking about wardrobe things!) so this isn't a messy-to-tidy massive declutter. It's been helpful to try EVERYTHING on at once and take inventory. I hope I can continue paring down

I challenge you to wear some of those “maybe pile” costume piece jackets in casual settings. I’ve started doing that with my wardrobe, which is bold and full of character. What helped me blend my love of a statement piece with my day-to-day life was letting go of the idea that these pieces must be reserved for specific situations. Nah. Wear it whenever, wherever. Break down those boundaries and conventions. You got this.

With that Ruth Pratt biker shirt you can unstitch the collar and flip it around then reattach. It will look restored as the ripped part will then be hidden in the fold on the inside of the collar not showing on the outside as it was before. Women used to do this to extend the wear of expensive mens shirts in the 80's.

I should do this..maybe at the end of Summer when the kids go back to school. I have early menopause and a lot of my clothing probably doesn’t fit well anymore because my body is changing shape. Last Summer I had to donate almost off my my short sleeved shirts that didn’t have stretch because they didn’t fit over my hips anymore even though ai am the same weight. I loved seeing all of your clothes. It was really fun!
I can NOT wear polyester anymore, to the point of it messing with my ability to wear jackets that have polyester lining. That floral jacket is AMAZING, I bet you could get it tailored?

I have a few jackets that make me sweat so badly due to their polyester lining. They are terrible.

@@SlowGaze Some at least here on Germany can do it (often the ones that are more skilled) they also can dye shoes and bags as long as they are real leather. There are also products to do it at home but I would always be scared about the color transferring to other stuff when I do it myself
