I love breakfast at Leipzig and was so interested in trying breakfast Highlands and after your video I was determined that I had to get it so I just got it today and I haven’t burned it but it smells so good thanks for the tip. It’s a very unique smelling candle, and I took it out of the box and I have it sitting at my bedside for the rest of today and I might light it tonight, great video just subscribed to your channel !
Glad to see you back! I recently bought the Diptique Paris candle after mulling over it for weeks and I’m really enjoying it. The scent profile is unique to me. It’s quite a well-rounded scent with fresh meets woodsy, so a bit of figgy, herbaceous scent with the deeper earthy notes of myrrh. As a fellow woodsy candle lover, I’d recommend Otherland’s Fallen fir. It’s divine ! X
i loooove breakfast highlands. i finally pinpointed exactly what it reminds me of and it’s definitely “catholic church incense.” i love it though, especially the tobacco, oaty warmth. thank you for sharing. gonna check out some of these brands!
Thanks so much and happy new year as well! I'm trying to "plot my comeback" hahah so I do it in a way that sustainable. I miss ya'll. Hopefully I'll be back v v soon. xoxo Diana
Oh yay! I am happy to see you back! I was wondering how you were. But I’ll go follow on Instagram! I’m not super big on candles. And I’m very picky about scents. But… I love really warm (not super sweet) gourmand and woodsy scents. The cozy wrap you up in a blanket kind. My fav candle of all time is Voluspa’s Spiced Pumpkin Latte. They also have a fig one I would like to try out as well. Thanks for the recs! I’ll have to go take a look at them!
Thanks so much, Ru! And yes, I am also pretty picky. Glad to know there are others out there who appreciate scents that are cozy but aren't super saccharine. I'll have to check out the Spiced Pumpkin Latte one... Voluspa is another brand like Nest that I never bit the bullet on. Thanks for the rec and take care! xoxo Diana
