this m156 came out from factory with slightly over 520 hp in some in the e.g. e-class/s-class
There was c63 edition 507 where MB tuned up to 507hp.
Some say that c63 bigger brothers (e-class, cls, s-class) were having better cooling (and stronger rear diff) than c-class - maybe thats why they were able to free up even more HP.
530HP. Better tune. And the exhaust is worth 8hp more. European models had 8 to 10hp more due to European spec airboxes. ( ROW airboxes)

@AutoVlog @11:02 Were you able to figure out why your Launch Control Disengaged? I am having the same issue with my 2013 C63 Sedan. I do it just as you are supposed to. Press the Traction Control button to Sport Mode and confirm with the OK, button on the steering wheel, put my foot on the brake pedal turn the dial to RS, Confirm Race Start with Right steering wheel Shifter paddle and then floor the gas. It will engage for less than a second and disengage :(

Great vid. Question. Aren’t you going to retune it again once the long tube headers come in? They are going to add another 40+ hp and drastically change your torque curve. Also, the tune needs to trick the ECU into thinking you aren’t throwing your O2 sensor since you won’t have cats anymore. Just speaking from experience. I can send you the dyno sheet and numbers do you’d like to see it. I have LTH, similar exhaust to what you bought, and a dyno tune.
How many hp to the wheel you making? Im about to do the same and they told me ill be making 470/480 hp to the wheel

Ah the memories of doing my Eurocharged remap the same way back in 2013. Not sure what that 7 times after the map is about though as I never had to do that. If you bought headers with the new exhaust your power will go to 540-550bhp.
For launch control the steering wheel has to be perfectly straight and you need to plant the throttle when you activate it or it will disengage.
My Eurocharged tune was night and day difference in terms of power after the tune (I know with them they have different versions where the power was) My V5 version has power from low revs all way to redline but the v6 version moved the power high up which I didn’t like so switched back. Maybe velos has tunes like that too?
What all did you have done to your 63 before getting the tune? Thinking of having eurocharged Houston do my 09 63

Thank you! Took my 2014 c63 today for a spin as well. A tune is right around the corner for me as well. What do you think this car would run is 1/4 mile after tune? And expect the 0 to 60 to be once you get the tires?
Go with a Eurocharged tune. Massive difference! And you can use the same handheld tuner.

If you wanna test gain, run 50-120mph before and after tune.
why don't you use the dyno mod for drifting, it deactivates esp and abs and all electronic aid

I recently bought a box tuner from American truck. I have a 12 EcoBoost f150. I wanna do a tune to it, I am kinda worried about the long term damage it will do to my truck. Do u know if it harms the truck in the long run?
rob gillingham. It’s hard to say whether it’ll damage it or not in the long run but it’s definitely not going to help with keeping wear and tear to a minimum. At the end of the day the engine is designed to run on the power the factory has given it. As soon as you start trying to up the power you are asking a lot more out of the engine, drivetrain, transmission etc.. like I said, it’s hard to say if the tune will damage things but it’s not going to help your truck with longevity at all.

You can measure the power with the vbox, it has a performance mode. And it gets the wheel kw. When you are in 4th gear on 2000 rpms you push tha pedal to the max but not kickdown and keep it that way until you reach the end of 4th gear. When you push the pedal to max you need to push ok on the vbox. Before you need to set the weight. Car+driver+gasoline. I bet you already know that. 😁Cheera
