Oh you poor things. I got teary and I don’t even know your dogs. But that face, that sad, sad face…. So glad that he survived the bite and good luck with the next ops
A lot of tears shed with us and dogs over the years. We have lost three to snakes, one to a tick, one stolen, one attacked by another dog, one run over but we still have dogs and our two travel with us still. Very painful when you can do nothing for them. I’m so glad Frank survived. You guys being there with him will definitely lift his spirits again. ❤
Oh my gosh Bianca. I was ugly crying!!! Oh how I felt for you. I just wanted to jump through the screen and give you a hug. You did the right thing. I would've done it to... It's hard when the furkids get sick.. take care. Love n hugs to you and Grant. And cuddles to Frank and Baxter xxxx
We lost our boxter (9yrs) on our lap, in hopetoun WA on the beach from a heart attack, ironically it was 12 months today, this hit me hard. You did the right thing, every minute counts with older pooshes. Darwin will be there when your time is right. XXX
Oh my, what an episode of dramas 🙀 glad the truck battery issue was sorted, and so lucky it was not half way along the Gibb. As for poor old Frank, so good to see he pulled through. The fur kids certainly tug at your heart strings at times. Great to see F&B reunited, they make a great pair. Good luck to Grant on his solo travels.
Its funny, some people don’t understand how an animal can mean so much to you, I feel pity for them. Nothing and no one is capable of the unconditional love that a dog has for its human. Imagine not ever feeling that!
So so glad to see Frank home again - what an absolute nightmare of a time for you all!! Good luck with his upcoming investigations/treatment and look forward to seeing you back on the road when circumstances allow ❤
Yes, we know only too well how you feel, our 5 year old Dachshund died after 9 months of struggle 6 weeks ago.. we are heartbroken..So glad Frank is doing ok.. and fingers are crossed that he’ll stay that way in the future..
Ohhh so sorry to hear about your troubles, takes me back to our Bushtracker days & when we were in Tasmania & got a message about a family member who had taken seriously unwell. I acted instantly and literally did a U-turn & raced to Hobart , threw the wife on the first flight to Sydney & then she flew halfway around the world making it to the family member about an hour before she passed away. Those times can be difficult indeed. I hope you guys have a relaxing Xmas/New year down at Grafton & all the best for 2024 🎉
Oh Bianca this was heartbreaking to watch, you are always so happy and positive no matter what but we all know your dogs mean the world to you both and we all felt your sadness 😢 So glad that Frank is on the mend and that you are both now home with your beautiful boys once more ❤
Thank you! We don’t like doing sad or negative videos but we decided to share our travels and our lives with everyone, so the good with bad I suppose! In a way, it shows the reality of full time travel Thanks for watching 😁👍
This video made me cry, I have 2 dogs, and my biggest fears are snakes, paralysis ticks and cane toads. I have taught them the leave it command, but dogs are dogs and explore. I'm so happy he is on the mend. I'm sad about growth, big hugs to you. I would have done exactly the same ..first flight to them. ❤
OMG what a terrible time you have had. I'm so glad Frank is better and hopefully the growth can be removed easily and he will be back to his old self again. Pets are such a worry when anything goes wrong and our hearts just break for them. I really hope that everything starts getting back on track for you both again quickly and all is well for you again. At least it is great to see your Dad again even if the circumstances could have been better. Thinking of you both.❤
Thanks Debra! We couldn’t agree more. Things are beginning to look up a bit now and Frank seems to be doing a lot better now! So cautiously optimistic 😁👍
hi guys wow your brought me to tears about your dog we to also were in Cairns on a 2 week holiday 5 days in we got a call our boxer had had his back legs drop out meaning he was dragging them behind him our pet sitter called us as did our vet we also packed our bags flew back down to Melbourne then a bus to Geelong were we live unfortunately the next day we had to put him to sleep it was gut Wrenching still is that was 5 years ago now keep your chins up love your real on the road approach live your best lives as we only get 1 life sending all my love from Paul Buckley
Oh you poor buggers. Everything happened at once for you 🫤when it rains it pours. I’m so happy Frank is ok 🐶💙 I bet you are happy to be back with your boys 🐶🐶 and I’m certain they will be happy to have you home too 😃 Your dad is amazing too. You are very lucky to have him 🥰 Take care of yourselves and I hope you get some good news on Franks issues 🤞🏻
Something always happens to Frank! It’s always Frank! He’s a consistent source of anxiety! We spend so much time and money protecting that dog from himself! He’s lucky he’s cute!
Loved seeing you reunited with your fur babies but so sad for everyone and Frank. Hope Grant enjoyed his movie, podcast, music marathon whilst on his own and on the drive home. Hope no more pears in your journey! 🍐
No worries, I know the feeling when you lose your pet, I lost one a few years ago and can't bring myself to get another because of the heartache of losing them, I'm glad yours has survived 👍
Very raw episode Bianca, glad to see Frank is on the mend. Be safe and hope to see your smile back on the track. Happy festive season to you all. Cheers carolyn and Stephen
Having dogs is hard when things go pear shaped, but it only gets harder when your travelling. We found out 3 weeks ago that our youngest border collie has a rare cancer which is sadly terminal. We're still travelling trying to give her the best time of her life. Sorry to hear Baxter got bitten and I hope the growth is not bad news. Grant don't enjoy yourself to much goimng solo for the week.
Bad luck guys but you did the right thing we would have done the same, your dogs are just not dogs they are very important in your life,I hope things worked out for you.About the battery issues Grant is fairly clued up he needs to study up on you tube and some forums and learn how to do it himself there’s plenty of face book groups and 4x4 forums with a lot of helpful people,if you build it yourself you know how to fix it ,when you travel remote you have to be handy.Good luck.
Sorry to watch about the dogs. I hope things get better. It’s the real life of travel. We have decided to stop for a while. Sometimes it’s ok to stop and rest and reboot
So glad he is getting better absolutely made me so sad to see you so upset, we lost our boy after 13 years and it broke my heart 😞 P.S I have watching the ads for guys, I watch a few travellers but you guys are by far my favourite 🤗
Hi Grant & Bianca 🙃 Wow - sorry to hear about Franks ordeal ☹️ - Our hearts ♥️ to out to you both - 😢 - xfingers for a great recovery after Franks op 👍 Grant - as already noted by one of your followers- tyres to be rotated every 5k - better run on the rubber 🙃🤪😬 Batteries- installer’s- bugger - sorry to hear there are rouges out there who are not professional 😖 All the best once again to one and all Best wishes - Raymond & Diane 🍷🍺
Good Morning 😊 Lost of one pet , family member is hard 💔 I lost 4 at once last month when they got into a snake nest 🐍 Thanks for Sharing and Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Well there are lots of things we can do but weather any of them will work is another matter! Frank is by his nature, inquisitive, stubborn and highly determined! We have always tried to save Frank from himself but we fear we may fail.
Your experience with the big Effy is not the best endorsement unfortunately. You guys deserve better for the money you have spent. We love our Bushie too !
Yes it hasn’t been great but the fault lies entirely on the work been done to it, not the vehicle itself! We could fault the truck at all before the mods and now that the problems have been resolved it’s a completely different beast! Ah well, live and learn I guess!😁👍
I’ve never heard that before, what exactly is the issue and are we talking L/a, AGM or Lithium? I’m curious, seriously. If you have any links to any articles etc I’d appreciate it 👍
That’s the only problem with dogs is they refuse to live long enough for us and it really hurts every time as a 70 year old we now have no dogs the hurt is too great
While do miss the LC but our problems are not the vehicles fault, it’s the people working on it! But I’ve had some great people working on it recently and I see smooth seas ahead
Not too sure! That being said, when we were there, he was too busy and was frazzled as you would be! If he works out the kinks and devotes more attention on our build then yes! We would go back! I hope we just got unlucky and we’re an isolated story and he has picked up his game. He’s a hard worker and a nice guy so I would want to give him another crack.
@Livin_Like_Kings_ I hope they get it sorted for ya's, we'll be watching.....so happy Frank is ok, my wife and I were sobbing like babies watching. I had to give our English Bulldog a extra big cuddle after watching your clip.❤️
Yes, we did pay professionals for the work. Bright side is, with the problems we’ve had has educated us as what to look for! But the vehicle is not new, it does look it but it’s a 2017 model
