You're such an amazing artist! I especially love how you do skin and lips. I love when you have different colored light sources, too! Like in your Christmas artist trading card video with that warm yellow light. Also, happy new year!
I feel like little highlights details you added tied everything up perfectly! It's so awesome how little things can change up such a big illustration ^^ Amazing as always xx
Thanks again! This really helps me. I've only done a little colouring in traditional art with pencils/coloured pencils, watercolour and a little digital art. So I didn't have a clue what to do with a nice blended effect, using alcohol based markers. Your notes are clear, helpful and humorous.
omg this was so helpful, I followed along with my colored pencils cause I dont have markers and IT WORKED SO WELL!! Can't wait for hair tutorial now, Thanks so much!
I'm loving these tutorial videos! I recently got some copic markers and have overall been trying to improve my drawing skills. And I'm finding these tutorials very helpful! Keep up the good work! :)
You are an amazing artist,Rambutan! You are very good with Copics.Im looking forward to buying the skin tone set, but my local Michaels store is out of stock D:
Oh we use the same white gel pen! It is the same brand but I stopped using it because mine bled a lot and it dissolved when I touched the paper. I use a different one now and is is great. I don't know why I made this comment lol
Does blending the colors stain your markers? and which paper do you use I have been wanting to start using markers in my drawings but not sure which paper to use. I love your art it is amazing.
Yes, blending does stain your marker a tiny bit. What I do is have a sheet of paper handy, scribble on it a tiny bit (as small as possible, don't waste my ink), and scribble just enough to take the ink off. It can also happen with colors like blending orange as yellow or green and blue. I always keep the paper at the back of my book.
Umm, I just got some comic markers for Christmas, and I haven't had a good opportunity to use them yet. I also watched your skin tutorial. In addition, I have a noob question: What does contour mean? (I think I spelled it right?) Also, what paper do you use?
Hey I wash just wondering, I got my copic markers a few days ago and I've used the skin tones and it seems that the two lightest colors in the pack when I used them the first time the tip got black, is it a bad sign? Thank you xx
That's not bad the copic will still work perfectly, just flick it on to another piece of paper and its ready. I know I'm not rambutan but I use copics :)
these copic tutorials are soooo nice! i just wish you were speaking instead of the text. i cant read the text and watch closely how you are coloring at the same time ): edit - seeing an older video, im thinking you prolly dont speak english so just disregard my comment xD doin great
I just splat a blender into white corrector (is this the right way to say it? That white stuff you use to delete things you wrote with pen, the liquid and alcoholic one... XD) and if you are lucky enough it turns out like a white gel pen...
When she coloured in the pupils first it kinda looked a bit scary
Christopher Solomon ya

it works well enough. as for paper, I don't know why this guy/girl/person doesn't answer that question, but bristol board is good.

Umm, I just got some comic markers for Christmas, and I haven't had a good opportunity to use them yet. I also watched your skin tutorial. In addition, I have a noob question: What does contour mean? (I think I spelled it right?) Also, what paper do you use?
Contour means "to round out the shape". :)
A Random SoMa Fangirl and in order to answer to the second question, the paper which is use is in the description box ^^
Hey I wash just wondering, I got my copic markers a few days ago and I've used the skin tones and it seems that the two lightest colors in the pack when I used them the first time the tip got black, is it a bad sign? Thank you xx

Is there a third part? Was it named something else? You have engaged me, please don't leave me stranded now.

+Ginger Kubicz not really ;-)

Description box gosh
sorry i commented this before looking at it whoops
Lineart kinda looks like pudding from one piece to me
WOW! Vielen Dank für den Tipp! =D
Can you plz do a collaboration drawing with +Baylee jae
This is soo creepy :D
Where is the hair tutorial
If she had worn purple to the eyes, this character would look like Diane(Nanatsu No taizai or Seven Deadly Sins)
Frost Blue, Boo! XD *It said Frost Blue Boo So ye*
make a coloring book 50 pages only.
i never saw the hair tutorial :(
my sketchbook couldnt handle all the ink
D'X i want part 4
what if you dont have a white gel pen??
+ValerieGrimes thxxxxD
Sharon Liu white gel pens are usually available in most art and craft stores, and in stationary sections, and are around $4-5 (or £3)
I just splat a blender into white corrector (is this the right way to say it? That white stuff you use to delete things you wrote with pen, the liquid and alcoholic one... XD) and if you are lucky enough it turns out like a white gel pen...
Creepy eyes no!
I find the eyes very creepy XD
