Hi everyone, thanks for checking out this video. Also, checkout my recently uploaded DJI Mavic Air 2 ADS-B in CHINESE video here: ruclips.net/video/y01ZlOUSRS8/видео.html
I think the first test is flawed because the first test is based on the assumption that there's no contrast in the ground for the camera to see, yet you have some black thing stuck in the grass with a red light on it . Every time it lands I can clearly see it in the camera and every time it lands it tries to land in the same spot in correlation to that thing you have stuck in the ground. I think the ground should be just grass remove that thing. I'm sorry to keep calling it a thing . I don't know what it is , just put a small green stick so the camera does not pick it up and you you can still judge distance from the stick ??? 🤔
Great video! Really useful to see the differences. I guess that's what I've been doing wrong. Not hovering 7 meters over the taking off position. Thanks
Great work on getting your RUclips video game going. Brilliant stuff for a 2nd video. One thing is with the wireless go. The position in relation to source is crucial. I find for t-shirts it’s just too hard to get it right. A lavalier go solved that for me plus the windshields. I only add that because it was hard to understand a lot of what you where saying during most landings. Play with positions and hear for yourself the differences. It’s dramatic for me.
Hey Ben, thank you for the kind words. I know what you mean about the audio. I tried very hard in my videos so far to get the audio just right. I know from experience watching videos on RUclips how audio can make or break an otherwise high quality video. Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely keep in mind what you said in future videos.
Based on your tests, after the announcement of the homepoint being set and hovering between 20 to 40 ft for about 20 to 30 seconds should be very good for a precision landing. I just ordered a mavic air 2 so look forward to doing some test as well. Thank you for your video.

Excellent insight into the
Magic Air 2’s landing performance capabilities!
Thanks John!

Great video, very informative!
Thank you Amanda. I appreciate the feedback!
Do you think it was also using the camera as well to judge its landing in the first test?
It's a definite possibility. I actually thought of that after I made the video. I probably should have moved the camera away from the landing pad.

Thank you for your video.
You are welcome. The MA2 has very accurate precision landing capabilities. For me, I love doing the testing. I hope you enjoy yours when you get it.
That was a great video thank you
You are welcome Tazzie. I'm happy that you liked it and thanks for letting me know!
