    Makes sense the first time I have an issue it's with a revised product. I certainly believe this was a 'one-off' and this revision truly resolved most of this product's original issues. I will open it up and see how easy it is to correct.

      FYI Walmart has a replacement/extra battery for the Omnia for $2.00! In the form of "Hydro Strike Pulsar Pro Water Bead Gel Blaster Outdoor Toy Rechargeable Battery Pack 7.4 V". $2.00!!!

    This review says a lot about your personal integrity and commitment to honesty in representing brands, regardless of the perks they give you. This is why we follow reviewers like you. Excellent work.
    I think the issue with this blaster, as well as most mass produced models, is that they're made in factories where quality is a byproduct, not the focus. Inconsistencies in manufacturing are a failing of the humans who build and maintain assembly lines. Anyone that wants to argue with that can look at how many automobile recalls have been issued in the last decade.
    Great review. Looks like the beard took some hits this holiday season! I think it looks better, but it's really a question of what Ms. NNN wants!

      Let’s just say MSNN is happier than me about it lol. I needed a break from it! 😅. And 100% on the human factor. I’m just glad most problems were solved!

    anyone not bothered by the delay at all? it's still a usable blaster. We're just flinging foam out here! It's a fun blaster.

      I think I’m one of the few “not bothered” people as you can tell in my original review lol. I think we’re all just hyper-aware about it now so we pick it up easier. Still doesn’t bother me though. I love the blaster.

      It bothers me personally. I hate any delay. Even worker kits have less delay.

    im so glad someone finally edited visual guides to the trigger delays. its really annoying that most reviewers just show u it unedited and its not easy to notice when ur watching from a phoneand the dart is practically invisible bc of how fast it flies out. this is an aspect i wish most reviewers would adopt since it does not translate well in video form.

  • @scottblack2760

    I moved the stop screw on the pusher wheel and shortened the lag.

  • @maritimefoam

    Great follow up! Agree with everything here. Especially the fact that now we are all in our heads about trigger delay, but on mine burst feels sluggish enough to not be fun. I am bother less on single even. I think @buffdaddyNerf said it below, it feels like gel ball tech was recycled. But, pretty fun blaster for the money.

    I think for the price point it’s great ! So many people are hating on this but to get anything like this and make it perfect you’re going to to pay 4x as much if not more to get a select fire 3d printed blaster that will have more fragile shell than this . Good review and I’m just like you I still support Dzp 100%

    Thanks for doing the update video on the Gen 2 NotNuff!

  • @Blasterhub
    @Blasterhub 7 месяцев назад

    Yep, I timed it a quarter second on semi, .2s on burst. Feels like they ultimately derived the board from some gel ball tech (which goes noticeably slower on semi than full auto), and then were stuck trying to improve a flawed decision.

    Great vid, NNN. I understand if ur an elite/competitor person and u need ur blaster performing at its peak. Me personally, I have a Gen01. I have no issues with it. But then again I just got for the fun of it. I shoot cans and targets in my back yard and is a lot of fun. Will I get a Gen02? Probably. I trust DZ. They're a good company in my eyes. And will continue support it. FYI... I fckn love the Outlaw. I fckn love the Omnia. 👍

    Thanks for the look at the Gen 2 version. After all the bad press we just bought 2 MK3's for $39.99 each and we are pretty happy. Keep up the great work.

    I just ran my Omnia Gen2 , Srryfe X in a cqb war Saturday.
    I was expecting the omnia to be my dav since it was full auto however I favored the X more. Dissapoinfed in the omnia as I liked the sleeker profile it has vs my MK3 but looks like MK3 still has me on full auto over omnia

    I had some problems with my gen 1 omnia pro consistently shooting to the right. However, i can still hit whatever I'm aiming at because it shoots consistently. I feel like people complain way too much about it shooting to the right because you can just aim a little bit to the left of your target and hit it every time.

    • @notnuffnerf
      @notnuffnerf  7 месяцев назад

      Yep. If you look closely, my blaster is canted slightly to the left, but almost every dart hit on target lol.

    I still have some input lag in my gen 2. About half a second in semi auto from the one second it is still a bit better but still not perfect. Seems your having thebsame issues to with the trigger lag with your gen 2.

    My Gen 1 was unusable when you consider its advertised as a Pro blaster. Lag was bad in semi and burst, shots to the right.
    My Gen 2 is still not an acceptable Pro blaster. The lag is still garbage in everything but full auto. Full auto is fun, but its niche and not helpful in most gameplay. My gen 2 shoots straight atleast...
    The performance in all but full auto is simply not fun. It may technically be select fire, but for all intents and purposes itll only be a full auto blaster. Its just no good in the other modes of fire. For $60 i can accept that.
    For competitive play, the StryfeX works great. Costs more, but it works like it should. That shouldnt be too much to ask.

    • @notnuffnerf

      This blaster has so much potential. It had such good performance with 7.4v it just needs a little more TLC to be great. I think they will get it next time around!

      Does trigger discipline helps when in full auto to compensate for the lag in semi auto? I have Worker Phoenix 2.0 and I never switch to semi auto during my game play. Just safe and full auto only.

      worker phoenix is nice but theyre using three flywheel sets to get same performance the omnia gets but the phoenix looks pretty freakin sweet!
