Rabbi can you help me please? I am desperately trying to honor YAHUAH’S Moadim and I believe the Gregorian (pagan) calendar is a tool of the enemy to deceive us so that it’s impossible for us to do so. In my studies, I believe I have found that last year was a 13 month year, putting us in Abib. That would make pass over this month?. Also, the only scripture I can find it talks about when the new moon is, is Psalms 81:3, which says on the new moon, the full moon, our feast days. Also, are we supposed to count seven days past the full moon to mark every Sabbath ? And is the day of the full moon the new moon the first sabbath of the month? As I said I am but a humble seeker of the truth that is nowhere near as learned as you are and I’m trying to learn. One more question, when you quoted the verse about the sun and moon being for times and seasons, you left out about the part about the stars, the stars are in that verse is there a reason why? I’m just asking because I want to know. I humbly pray that you will accept this communication in the manner in which I give it. I write this with honest love and curiosity, as well as your desperate need to find the truth. I love your teaching so much and really enjoy studying with you online. I think Pastor Mark has to clarify his last section of his first sermon. He states that as long as Jewish people believe in YHWH they don’t have to believe in Yeshua- see comment he made at end of first part about concentration camp- that statement IS NOT TRUE- John 14:6 Yeshua said to him, “I am the way and the truth* and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 1 Corinthians (NIV)15 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Yeshua died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scripture.
I think you missed the entire point of the message. Yeshua mainly taught from the "old testament", and all through the Old testament it says those who call on YHVH God will be saved - that is the message Yeshua taught, and those verses are repeated by all the new testament writers, if they came with a "new way:" to God the Father, then God the Father teaches through Moses in the book of Deuteronomy that such a person should be put to death (Deut.13:1 and onwards, compare that chapter to Yeshua himself in Matt.5:17 and onwards, saying he did not come to do away with one jot or tittle or a single commandment of the Torah - he came to DO the Torah, to be our example). Mark is making the point that Yeshua IS YHVH, Yeshua is the YHVH who gave the teaching in the Torah to Moses, so to call on YHVH to be saved means you ARE calling on Yeshua, who God the Father gave the Name YHVH to! (Philippians 2). Let's rephrase John 14:6 to hopefully make it clearer - I Yeshua, YHVH the Son, am the way and the truth* and the life. No one comes to YHVH the Father except through me - I and the Father are One, so if you are calling on YHVH, you are calling on Yeshua.
And also, Paul's "gospel" was not just the dot points of the death & resurrection of Yeshua. Paul taught the whole Truth - Torah (Acts 20:27, the book of Romans, etc.) and that as followers of Yeshua we should do the Truth - do, walk it out, obey they Father's teaching & instruction, alot of which points us to Messiah. If you want a better idea of the FULL GOSPEL message taught by all the followers of Yeshua, read Stephen's message in Acts 6-7.
BUT THAT IS NOT HOW JOHN14:6 WAS WRITTEN!!! Revelation 22:18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, You need to really listen to what he says when he talks at the last few minutes of the first half of his sermon-go back and watch it again- you are missing his message-I pray he doesn’t really believe what he said- I am not the only one that heard it that way!!! Think about this - if I heard it that way and others did too - wouldn’t a Jewish person hear it that way-unfortunately maybe there was a new Jewish believer in Yeshua or someone just about to believe in Yeshua they would be misled by Pastor Mark’s message!!! Pastor Mark! Where is the evidence that Adonai gave the Torah on Shavuot?? I'm so interested!! Is it just traditional belief or is their scriptural proof???
I had thought it was just tradition. But I wanted to know for myself, so I plotted out a Biblical Hebrew calendar and studied through Exodus and when you work out timings of the events, and of travel from Egypt to My Sinai, and all the time signatures given in the text, it does work out that the Torah was given 50 days after the first day after the Shabbat of the Passover week. This takes a fair bit of time to do, but it's worth the exercise to know something like this, not because someone else told you, but because you studied it for yourself. The Bible is 100% reliable as a historical source.
There is only one name by whom you can be saved, yeshua the messiah. No one can go to the father except through Him. You must know the messiah to be saved.
So was YHVH the Father lying, when he told Yeshua - who we believe to be YHVH the Son - to tell Moses and all the prophets, that whoever calls upon the Name (authority) of YHVH (the authority of the Father & Son) will be saved????? Christians - go back and READ your Old Testament - which is the ONLY Scripture that Yeshua & all his disciples taught from, which Yeshua expressly said he DID NOT come to do away with...... and look up how many times the people of God are told to call on the Name of YHVH and to ignore anyone NOT coming in this name - it's about authority. That's why, as Ps.Mark shows in this video, people who call on YHVH the SON using all kinds of names that sound nothing like "jesus" still have their prayers heard, are still saved, delivered, etc.
