I love the way Deddy's eyes open wide when he speaks about God. Love it. Another budget, post pandemic, surviving Corona virus meal. I've done it browned before, never did curry but it's a must.

I've been cooking Poor Man's Oxtail for years. Admittedly I'd not thought of doing curry before. Thanks for the idea.

Trust me curry turkey is the bom
What a blessing! Wash turkey necks with vinegar or lime/lemon. Place in large bowl.
Add chopped garlic,chopped ginger, sliced red and yellow pepper, sliced onion, sprig of thyme, sliced scallions, chopped tomato, chopped scotch bonnet. Mix well.
To same bowl with necks and veggies, add:
1.5 TB Flavo rice
12 grains Pimento seeds
1 TB Maggi all purpose seasoning
1.5 TB Seasoning salt
1 TB ground Black pepper
1.5 tsp ground Ginger powder
1 TB ground Garlic powder
2 TB ground Betta curry
Mix very well. Marinate overnight best.
Over med heat, burn (Bloom) about 1.5TB curry in grapeseed oil.
Add marinated meat and veggies. Add water to emptied bowl to get seasonings and add seasoned water to cooking pot. Stir.
Increase heat, cover for 5 minutes to 'let it sweat'
Stir and scrape bottom. Add a little water. Stir. Let simmer/boil. Add coconut milk and enough hot water to cover necks. Bring to boil...turn down to simmer...(Stir and check?)
When meat is tender, add 2 drained cans of lima beans. Heat for 'a minute or two' 🤣
Serve with white rice.
Eat with gratitude 🙏🏽and love❤.

I just love 💕 watching Daddy cook and giving glory to God for the gifts he gives us! I was raised on soul food and if people think they are too good for it, NO PROBLEM, I'll eat it for them! The ONLY thing I can't do is the awesome scotch bonnet pepper 🌶️. I have to put it in whole so I don't bite it, it knocks the breath out of me! Lol I'm such a lightweight. I love the flavor though.

I love turkey necks! I can’t eat oxtail because the richness of the meat makes me very sick. I tasted turkey necks as a child and it’s one of my favorite soul food dishes. This recipe is right up my alley because I love the multiple layer of seasoning while cooking. I’m making turkey necks for Thanksgiving and this recipe has me excited!!!

I enjoyed Daddy's video curry turkey necks I got enough courage to try the turkey necks my pot like a poor man's meal daddy pot on the video looks just like a rich man's meal but I am so pleased that I tried I don't have the confidence like Daddy has in his kitchen I finally found a store here in Houston Texas I have found most of the seasoning Jamaican seasoning and I've also found a Jamaican restaurant you can find everything on the menu that Daddy has cooked on his video thank you thank you thank you for the love through your food be blessed God's love
