Okay. I’m really tired of the rude comments about the young lady. This is how she wants to present the content. Look at it as an excited child learning from her father. He obviously doesn’t mind her chatter so why should we. She was the one who got her dad to share the experience. Frankly, I don’t think that he feels comfortable enough to be on camera alone so his daughter is there to reassure him. Leave them alone-I love their relationship.
As a man who can handle myself in the kitchen and can cook about everything Jamaican, big up. I first turned in to your red peas soup video, not because I didn't know how to do it , but I wanted to see different styles. I must say you think shot ( great, large , fantastic). I like your cleansing of the meat etc. I like your daughter's presentation. She is the bridge to the different cultures who tuned in. I share my food with my fellow MTA dispatchers. One is Jamaican but the others are American. I'm about to do a stew peas so I watch your video to reinforce my style. Keep doing what you are doing. I love it. Stay bless big man.
I am an American and made this for my Jamaican boyfriend yesterday and he nearly flipped. He was eating so, we hardly had a dinner conversation other than him saying how good this was. He does not eat pig tails, so I didn't put that in. Thank you Deddy for your help and lesson. I will be making this again with the pig tails because I like them. Thanks again. Keep teaching us. Love you!!!
Thanks for the video. I can tell this meal is delicious and awakens the taste buds like crazy-- but the synergy between Deddy and daughter makes this more than a cooking video -- it's a fine example of a strong father/daughter relationship that should be a model for all us dads and grand dads.
Peace and blessings Queen to you and your Dad. I wish I have a father like yours. So loving and love cooking with his daughter. Thank you for sharing your Dad with us. 🙏🙏
I would add that all Caribbean people wash and season their meat. It’s not just a Jamaican thing. Please stop saying that we need to support each other. Still enjoyed the tutorial
Awwww, reminds me of my dad in the kitchen. Yall got the best jamaican food recipes to follow....glad to see yall being health concious with the seasonings..keep up the good work yall are so good together😊😊😊
I love and enjoy watching Deddy teaching, preparing and cooking the meals and Daughter managing the camera, narrating, commenting and entertainmenting the audience, family Deddy & daughter keep up the great work. I love you all 🥰
My husband is Puerto Rican but grew up in St Croix lol that's how I learned to wash my meat properly with vinegar especially chicken because if u see the stuff that comes off of meat OMG you would definitely use vinegar baby best thing ever
I was always told that presentation is part of the reason you want to taste or rather experience new things. Deddy's kitchen has that type of presentation.
I love daughter talking us thru the cooking so that her father can concentrate on the cooking. Keep up the good work! Great Father and daughter team! I look forward to seeing more cooking tutorials from you.
I LOVE!!!! her interaction with her father together they make a great filming team. She actually asked all the questions a newbie would want to know. People hating? unless you're a daddy's girl you probably will never understand this type of relationship. It looks yummy!!!!
WELL SAID! They have such a great father/daughter relationship it’s absolutely beautiful to watch! I love all her questions. They are an integral part of the whole format. People need to take the time to appreciate all the behind the scenes that go into presenting this to us. People who do not appreciate that find it very difficult to be “in gratitude”.
I'm the opposite 😮 I'm use to it .. all my friends growing up had their dads involved and taught us to cook and drive....It was weird not to see a Dad in the home actually...🇯🇲🙏🏾💯❤️🖤✊🏾.. ....
Quite the opposite.. allot of jamaican men are in there kids lives.. my dad definitely was. Maybe it's your environment and the people and men around you.
Omg!! So happy I came across you on RUclips. My God, you can cook. Thanks so much for showing us how to real cook some good food. Excellent chef deddy. Bless up!!!❤🔥
You definitely need to throw the water away...the gases release from the beans when soaked overnight. If you do not use fresh water, the pot will continue to boil over when it is covered.

I'm not used to Jamaican fathers being involved with their kids in this manner, so it's nice to see. 😁👍🙏🏾❤️
My Father is the same way. It's this new generation of Jamaican men that aren't investing time with their children.

Also adding a teaspoon of baking soda too. Rinse before cooking.
That's true. Especially round red. That toxin will hurt your stomach bad. Soak it and throw away that water.

Besides oxtail, will this work with stewing beef? Corned beef is high in salt from what i understand. im also trying to avoid pork
