And then him boil the pigs tail and corned beef with the peas and then he had the audacity to say he's gonna throw away some of the good good peas water because it was gonna be too salt. SMH bwoy, him mash up me stew peas meds. Big up to you, this is traditional. Just like how mommy would make it (some beef added though, maybe even a piece of soup bone and chicken foot). Love it.

Looks delicious! Stewed peas is my favorite dish and I cook mine slightly different from yours. 1. I soak my peas overnight 2. I boil my pigstail for 1 and a half hours...changing the water 2 -3 times during that period. Pigstail is very very salty and can ruin your stewed peas if its too salty. 3. I get rid of the final boiling water off my pigstail then add my peas to which I add my green onion,garlic and thyme. 4. Once my peas starts to mash I add in my spinners and more green onion( I don't mince finely instead I mash and drop it in like that) ,thyme,onion,a piece of bell pepper,a little black pepper and little all purpose seasoning. 5. When am five minutes away from finishing I add my coconut milk.
