I’m American and tried your recipe. It turned out amazing for an American gurl. Everyone enjoyed it and was asked to prepare it again. Thank you so much for sharing ❤❤❤
Woot woot that’s what I’m talking about🥳🥳 thank you so much for trusting me enough to try my recipe☺️ you’ve made my day! Glad it came out perfect and you and your family enjoyed it. Much love and respect ✊🏾
I thank you. I have messed up a lot of goat meat trying to cook it like this. I had a good friend from Jamaica awh he gaved me some that he cooked man i fell in love with the taste of Jamaican curry goat and their food thanks. again.
Omg I am just cooking this now and the smell around the kitchen is wonderful!! Don't know I'm gonna be able to wait another couple of hours for it to cook! It's meant to be for my husband and his friends when he gets home from pub.... To be honest I don't think there will be anything left 😂 x
Awww 🥰 look at that. I’m glad you got to out it down in the kitchen and they enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks for trusting me to give it a try. Much appreciated and much love✊🏾☺️
Awww 🥰 thank you fam. I appreciate the love and support!!! How did it came out did you enjoy it down to the bone??? lol hope you and your family did. Much respect ✊🏾
@davidandjody yes indeed it turned out very nice am not Jamaican but my husband is and he knew right away I did not use Deddys nor Chef Morris recipe ❤️
This is perfect I’m cookkkg it as I’m watching you. I love it that you add quite a bit of veg because i know growing up many don’t add too much veg aside from onion and garlic. I wanted to add sweet pepper and then when I saw you did I was like hey 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I can’t wait! Thank you sooo much
You can do either way. Comes out the very same way just a longer cooking time when cook without pressure cooker so the meat get tender enough. Much respect ✊🏾
Thank you so much for enjoying my cooking. I appreciate you taking the time out to watch. Whenever you give it a try let me know how it comes out. Enjoy
where did all the Green Mix Blend go? I saw about 3 tablespoons go on the goat for marinade in the beginning. It smells so good, but I have lots left still. Does it save or freeze okay? thank you!
Heeyyy there, thank you for taking the time out to watch but each and everyone cook different . If you don’t eat carrots when making curry all you have to do is don’t add carrots in yours I personally cook to my preference. Thank you.
I haven’t made curry goat 🐐 in years. I find the smell of the goat here is very pungent even after washing it. I only eat goat when I am in the Caribbean.😮
Please wash it with some vinegar and lemon juice just add like 3 Tbsp and some lemon juice wash it 2 times Pat dry it with paper towel and smell it afterwards. Fresh
Girl, why would you make this when my throat is disconnected from my stomach? I made your recipe using lamb chops, instead of goat, for a group of people. Now they want me to do it again. No credit to me, it's all YOU!!
Awww I’m sorry to hear that fam, wow I’ve never ate lamb chops before I have to make it like how I make my curry goat thanks for enlightening me on this 😅 I’m glad you gave it a try though and everyone enjoyed it. I appreciate you hun and I hope you feel better💞💞🙏🏾
Overcooked. Too much water added the first time. What you did was to extract seasoning absorbed through equalization which the seared meat will not reabsorb readily. Add water a little at a time. Good job nevertheless. Next thing is you don't need to force your Jamaican accent. No carrot, no bell needed. Good job overall. I man like it. ❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
It's all good except I remember differently as a child and young boy well nowadays young man as those you know them anyway after killing the goat and hanging it upside down so the blood drains out an gutting it out then we the children wash it in season then Skinned the Goat and then wash it a few more times then season the Goat completely in Curry Powder and then allow it to stand for a few hours but then after it was the Grown ups who cut it up and Cook it and most of the time it was a big Stew that Cook for hrs at a time out side an all we smelled was thick Curry and other Seasoning yeah mostly Curry we are not Jamaican a little Bahamas that's it but mostly everything we eat had to have Curry in it and very hot Spicy and most people couldn't eat it because of the thick Curry sauce and Spicy yet we love it here in Florida back wood black men and Black women Wich they don't call us that now because everything is City like you know
Bell pepper and carrot has very strong flavour it take away from the authentic flavour of the Goat. These days I see most people are putting bell pepper and carrot in everything , even stew peas. Now to answer your question, ME and the good Jamaican cook
It doesn’t have flavor but it really good to add. It helps with the gravy and texture of the curry. Bitting the potato after the meal is prepared is really a great taste.
Number one I don't buy goat meat in supermarket I go to the butcher place and see where they're killing the goats Ram goat meat that's what I buy if I don't go to the butcher shop and buy a whole lot and ask the butcher to kill it for me and I chop it up myself you're not a professional cook and I watch Auntie Pauline cook just a couple minutes ago before I watch yours and and she was cooking curry goat doll because because because because supermarket
That’s your assumption which is wrong. You and I cook different I’m eating according to my taste I’m giving an impression on how it is done. Thank you for your opinion.
How are you gonna tell me I’m not Jamaican because I choose to add whatever seasoning in my own food though???? I eat whatever I want this is my food. You cook different and so do I‼️
What the amount of Curry that your sprinkler on the goats and the amount you put in the pot that is over too much and that carry not going to taste good because if you knew that you were going to put the curry to burn you don't have to put in the car in the meat is because you cannot cook
Whoever you are it seems you cant cook either, because thats exactly how my mother used to cook it. We burn the curry to prevent running belly . You surley not a jamaican. Your'e damn feisty to say the lady can't cook. Tek yu arse off the de woman program.

Love your blend up seasoning!!watching from Fl👍👏
The blend up season is good but its best to use oil if your not using it all
That’s so very pretty

Just a half cup of fresh coconut milk, and that take it to cloud 9

Gyal wha gwaan with you? you spoil up de flavor of de curry goat with carrots!!

Can i have some my sister please??😊
Ofc you can bro❤️
So is there a big difference if you don't use coconut milk? I usually use it.
I never add coconut milk in my curry goat. It doesn’t need it, that’s just my preference. If you add it it’s up to you.
The authentic flavour is just our Jamaican way. The flavour of the curried goat does not need additional flavour enhancers. 🤣🤣🤣💯💯💯🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Jamaicans dont put coconut milk when cooking any meat. We do in shripms, salt fish rundown,(oil down) but not red meat.
Question: Why didn't you add the potatoes and veggies during the 3rd round of adding water? Why after the 3rd round of water?
Because it was still hard, it needed to be tender before you add those veggies.
So that you don't get mashed potatoes. Potatoes need to soft but not mushy. 🤣🤣🤣 💯💯💯🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Because the potatoes need to be firm not mushie. Then the gravey would be too thick.
Don't remember that way of Curry Goat must be a new way of Cooking Curry Goat
I haven’t made curry goat 🐐 in years. I find the smell of the goat here is very pungent even after washing it. I only eat goat when I am in the Caribbean.😮
I find washing it real good with vinegar and lemon, then marinate it over night or for a few hrs..helps
Thank you for that it definitely help’s especially that vinegar.
Please wash it with some vinegar and lemon juice just add like 3 Tbsp and some lemon juice wash it 2 times Pat dry it with paper towel and smell it afterwards. Fresh
Pungent goat meat; it's a buck or you may say a RAM goat.
Which that's what people prefer!
Wash it with baking soda and vinegar

How many pounds of goat meat did you use in this recipe?
It was roughly 2lbs
Please turn your music down so we can hear you and understand you.
Noted 📝
Bottle lemon just as good
Isn’t better to use pressure cooker 😊
You can use both. Nothing is wrong doing it the traditional method. It just takes more time.
Overcooked. Too much water added the first time. What you did was to extract seasoning absorbed through equalization which the seared meat will not reabsorb readily. Add water a little at a time. I’m confused, is it soup or stew?
lol what it look like ?
😋🍽️❤🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
Thanks Kim💕💕💕
What meat is this again please.❤
Too much curry powder and turmeric for the amount of meat. Tip: steam out the goat first to get out the rank taste.
Thanks for your advice ✊🏾
No way that's 3 tbsp oil. Looks like 1/4 cup or so. Paprika in yellow curry? hmmmm to each his own though. But over all looks good.
No its not, tumeric is yellow curry,I grow it in my back yard.
No carrots 🥕
It's all good except I remember differently as a child and young boy well nowadays young man as those you know them anyway after killing the goat and hanging it upside down so the blood drains out an gutting it out then we the children wash it in season then Skinned the Goat and then wash it a few more times then season the Goat completely in Curry Powder and then allow it to stand for a few hours but then after it was the Grown ups who cut it up and Cook it and most of the time it was a big Stew that Cook for hrs at a time out side an all we smelled was thick Curry and other Seasoning yeah mostly Curry we are not Jamaican a little Bahamas that's it but mostly everything we eat had to have Curry in it and very hot Spicy and most people couldn't eat it because of the thick Curry sauce and Spicy yet we love it here in Florida back wood black men and Black women Wich they don't call us that now because everything is City like you know
That’s definitely an African goat
I remember it was alway's was very Thick
Add some oil instead of water
If you’re cooking Jamaican curry Goat the Authentic way , you shouldn’t be using bell pepper or carrot in it
Says who?

That may be the way she was raised eating it, different strokes for different folks
Hey maybe you can make a video and show how it’s done, like she did. Maybe someone would appreciate your way
Potato has no flavor! And it makes the curry goat taste good? Hmmm!
The potatoes help with the gravy and it soaks up the flavor
It doesn’t have flavor but it really good to add. It helps with the gravy and texture of the curry. Bitting the potato after the meal is prepared is really a great taste.
Just throw everything in the pressure cooker

I can tell you that it won't taste good too much water dilutes the seasoning.
