  • Temperatures were dropping fast in Argentina and we had to stay warm, so we chose to stay in one of the huts in Lanin NP and the hot pools very close to the border to Chile.
    We are traveling through the south region of Neuquén province. Mountains, crystal clear waters and many unpaved paths. This area is very famous for the trout and fly fishing. we don't have gear but we made time to taste the trout.
    We arrived at the Lanin NP, and we were not sure if it would be open after the big storms. but we were lucky that they had clear the paths.
    The park is extraordinary and having a hut and some hot pools to stay warm is just a huge bonus.
    We had to leave soon as we had to take care of our Landy in Bariloche. But before that we left Karsten in the mountains to do part of the Huella Andina.
    Enjoy the Ride!

    It's quite peculiar: your video shows gray coldness (well, at least the cactus is always in the appropriate dryness!), dampness, and not so friendly conditions, the 'other' reality that is also part of such a journey.
    Yet, despite that, the report, after following you for 25 minutes as a distant spectator, conveys an absolutely positive feeling. It must be due to what you convey there - completely devoid of pathos and spectacle - always so directly! 👍
    Bravo and best wishes! 🙂

      Thank you so much for your comment! I try to capture and edit it, as if the viewers were our traveler companions. You see what we see. And we try to be as raw as possible, but still have a beautiful photography from the places we visit. In this episode we struggled a lot with the weather, but we found comfort in the different sources of heat and shelter. So we found the positive side in those challenging conditions. Thank you for watching and see you around!

      Das mit dem PU Schaum + Spachtel und Lack war einer der drei Vorbesitzer. War bei allen Türen so. Damals wusste ich noch nicht all zu viel über landys und die Schwachstellen. Das ist wohl der Preis den mal zahlt wenn man den günstigsten landy im Umkreis von 200 km kauft 😅 naja zwei von 5 Türen sind jetzt ausgetauscht. Schlage immer zu wenn mir eine über den Weg läuft. Und wie man sieht hält eine verrottete Bauschaumtür auch nicht wirklich davon ab um die Welt zu fahren 😂

    Keep rolling! Great video of areas. Regarding the paint, I know it’s not like a major city, but could they not make up a spray can or two based on the colour code that’s stamped under the bonnet?
    Surprise at 25:00…my Discovery model with RTT! Nice.

    • @Thebluelandy
      @Thebluelandy  4 месяца назад +1

      Hey!! We had the official color code of the blue, but at the moment even that is way too far from the color of the original door. I really think that the sun kind of made our Landy look way yellow/greener with time. In any case we gave them a sample from the inside part and they measured outside with the machine, and that's how they came with. But it's not the first time they struggle with the car. As Kai says one day the whole car will be repainted.
      That's the Disco from Mike. He is from South Africa and is traveling in South America as well. It was great to meet him and hear his stories!

      @@Thebluelandy "This was end of November..."
      Does that mean that this "current" (a few hours old) report actually describes your situation from four months ago? So you've actually been somewhere else for a long time than the reader assumes? 🤨

    • @Thebluelandy
      @Thebluelandy  4 месяца назад +1

      @@RogerTecumseh Yes, we always have had a gap between the recording and the posting. This is due to not being able to cover all in one video. For example the episode 76 was only two days of travel, so the moment we don't post every two days then the gap is created. We are won't going to skip posting things because is not in real time! We did a post before coming to South America to give an overview of the approximate dates in each country because we know about this. In the last episode we said already it was November. Maybe in the next I can mention it again.

    • @RogerTecumseh
      @RogerTecumseh 4 месяца назад

      @@Thebluelandy Okay, understood.
      However, some readers now follow your path with a certain interest in your personal "fate". And four months may indeed be a very long time. Especially when considering that you are currently in a country experiencing a severe economic/political crisis.
      And specifically here: the current report may thus come from a time before the rise to power of the far-right government led by Milai...
      So occasionally, dating might not be wrong. 😎
