Best National Parks in the PATAGONIA ⭐Free // EP.80

  • We are traveling in the Patagonia, in what we believe are the best National Parks in Argentina.
    From Alerces National Park, through Patagonia NP and ending in the mind blowing Perito Moreno National Park. Driving around lush forest, mirror like lakes, and crossing expansive plains in the Ruta 40. And guess what all of these parks are free, yes, free.
    In the Alerces National Park, we need to work on the car. Our gas struts of the pop top need to be replaced as it is really difficult to put up the pop top to sleep. We manage that and leave south. The paths in the Park are all dirt tracks and it gets really bumpy with the 7m Spaceship (Mercedes Sprinter).
    The landscape is changing from forests to steppe. And we are driving endless straight roads. Farms on each side and bumps. But the gem of this part of the world lies deep in the mountains. Our next stop is Patagonia NP. One of the newest Parks in Argentina, it is not the size of the park in Chile but still stunning to walk around Buenos Aires. This is the first time we start seeing signs of Pumas.
    After a beautiful hike, we head south through Bajo Caracoles, where we put diesel and drive towards the Perito Moreno NP. We didn´t know it but this 90km track is jaw dropping, and one of the most beautiful drives of this trip.
    But the hikes, oh the hikes. Check them for yourself.
    Enjoy the Ride!

      They are heroes! Absolutely legends that value the importance of nature and ecosystems. I think many people get more and more distance from it and forget how important it is for them and the rest of the living creatures on this planet!

    Hello,
    the impressively designed (and in parts privately sponsored) Perito Morenopark reminds me of a similar project in Brazil. There, the highly socially engaged photographer Sebastião Ribeiro Salgado bought land in the rainforest to preserve it as a biotope from destruction by international profiteers. Successfully!
    It is truly touching to see the generosity and amazing quality with which the huts are freely available during your hiking! Your gratitude and care with which you make use of this great offer come across very well in the video!
    Gute Fahrt - wo auch immer!! 😉
    Roger-T.

      It gives me so much hope when I see projects like this. There is always amazing people around that want to preserve wild spaces, in a world where still many people think that taking and exploiting land its a normal thing to do as humans. We are extremely grateful that we are able to see some of these incredible places!

    The wind and ambient sound! It reminds me of my time in Alaska and the Great White North as well as many desert journeys. Most folks find it annoying,I find it cathartic. It took me a minute to get geared up but, once situated, it is most peaceful.

    Muchisima gente trabaja y vive para seguir conservando tantos lugares, el problema es la lucha constante contra la corrupcion (esta a la vista en las rutas, tramos buenos, tramos malos, alguien se guardo la diferencia) y el calentamiento global que repercute en todas partes del mundo... Por mas turismo de bajo impacto para disfrutar una patagonia sana para siempre, Saludos!!!

    • @Thebluelandy
      @Thebluelandy  3 месяца назад

      Increíble el trabajo que se hace en Argentina para preservar estos lugares. Y triste pensar en como algunos se aprovechan de ella. Sin duda el calentamiento global pondrá estos lugares en riesgo. Espero que aquellos que vengan en el futuro sepan proteger estos lugares y se pueden edan mantener igual de vírgenes o más aún que en estos momentos.

    Very nice. Argentina is one of my fav places. I must have missed the problems with the struts for you roof. Great handy work fixing it. Improvising on the road. Who makes the roof structure? Ex-tec?

    • @Thebluelandy
      @Thebluelandy  3 месяца назад +1

      Hey! Yeah, in one of the previous videos we did show how noisy the struts were, because they were broken! We use it every single day and with a lot of weight on the roof. We are really happy with it but it would be better without the surfboards on top. The poptop is from XVisionX.

    A pity that they did not cross the river and go to the "Ice Lagoon" where the wind brings the enormous pieces of ice from the San Lorenzo Glacier closer to the coast. Obviously, you have to cross the frozen river with appropriate footwear, sandals or barefoot. On the other hand, the park's shelters and trails were built by the Fundación Banco de Bosques and the Butler Conservation Fund. As you may have noticed, it is not easy to get to that park and adequate logistics are needed because there is no possibility of buying anything inside it, especially carrying enough fuel.

    • @Thebluelandy
      @Thebluelandy  Месяц назад +1

      Hey! Yes, we didn't get to the lagoon. It meant another 10km to the already hike over 20 km both ways. We would have been able to push, but the weather turned bad, snow and hail when we were up. So it was good to turn around and go down. 🤗At the time we were there it was most probably frozen and full with snow ❄️
      yes one needs to go prepare of course, with fuel and food. But we always try to stock on food an water when in town, doesn't matter where we go as we know it can get remote pretty quickly. 👍

    Quisiera manifestar algo que me sucede con ustedes... Veo la poca cantidad de suscriptores que tienen y siempre me pregunto a que se debe... Si a ustedes no les interesa aumentar el numero de suscriptores, todo bien... Pero seria interesante hacer una reflexion del porque sucede esto... Otros viajeros, igual que ustedes, con una calidad notoriamente inferior de imagenes y compaginacion, tienen muchisismos mas seguidores.... Yo mismo no logro explicarme a que se debe.... Puedo estar muy errado, pero creo que hay en Sudamerica un enorme caudal de gente que ven este tipo de videos, pero como no saben ingles, automaticamente a ustedes, los descartan... Puede ser eso...??? Espero no haberlos molestado con este escrito y un deseo de buenos paseos de aqui para adelante...!!!

      Hay muchos factores que pueden afectar. A nosotros nos gustan nuestros vídeos, pero no significa que a todos les guste. Por supuesto que no llegaremos a la audiencia de habla española, pero no hay suficiente audiencia de habla inglesa para elevar las visualizaciones. El mayor problema es que nuestros vídeos son bastante tranquilos, no hay drama, y esto no hace que se hagan virales. Y de hecho casi todos los vídeos con mayor visualizaciomes son aquellos donde tuvimos problemas en carretera. Otra cuestión es, nuestros títulos y las imágenes que elegimos para la portada. Podríamos crear más atención , creando imágenes y títulos más impactantes. Pero no queremos. También podríamos publicar únicamente los mejores momentos del todo el viaje, es decir, videos más entretenidos. Pero queremos publicar más o menos el viaje como fue. Pero no pasa nada, para nosotros el viaje es lo importante, y hacerlo a nuestra manera! Gracias por tu comentario y tu apoyo!
