I have a fire TV stick lite and a fire TV stick 2nd Gen. What's the differences and which one are better out of the two! I am thinking about getting the 4K max after watching this video but is the cube better?
If I have older tvs that max out at 1080p would it even be worth it to buy the 4k one or just stick with the lite? Would the resolution still be enhanced on a tv that’s almost ancient tech nowadays or not really? 😂

This is all new information since after this video was published but the latest version (2nd Gen / 2023 release) has Wi-Fi 6E and double the storage (16 vs 8 GB), it's also slightly faster and has the enhanced remote. The newest Max version also has a new feature called ambient experience which transforms a TV into an Alexa-powered smart display when not streaming. For most people the newest version of the fire stick 4k is plenty
depends on the TV, some are capable of "up-processing" to 4k, others would just display it as 1080. We recommend buying the 4k stick so that you're future proofed and because it actually has a faster processor. You can usually get one on sale for around the same price
Since I got a 4k TV with HDR and a new Xbox... it's very VERY clearly a big quality upgrade. If you're ignorant to what resolution is then basically just go on any RUclips video and put the quality on 480p and then compare that to 1080p. That's the kinda difference I'm talking about.
Awesome video. Personally, I prefer the Max device for its low cost and Wi-Fi 6 feature. It has a good Mediatek chipset as well.
I think I will go with the 4k, was thinking about the lite to save extra bucks, but after this video, I'm going with the 4k one.

Storage is 4gigs larger on the Cube ...something to consider if you are an app hound, storage memory gets eaten up pretty quick.

I would, only because then you're future proofing should you decide to replace the TV and also the overall specs in the newer 4k versions are better

The cube is better. If you can afford to pay the difference it has more storage is faster than the other units. It is one of the best units out there.

I’ve got the 4 k and all it does is crash every few mins not sure why it’s so bad not my internet as i get 650 download speed

Oh wow, I replied earlier but it looks like it didn’t go through. Anyways it’s good to future proof and the processors are faster on those versions

The cube needs a full hardware update badly! Wi-Fi 6, HDMI 2.1 for HFR content, better speaker, better APU, fabrics covering, SD card slot for easy memory upgrade options.
I heard that you can't disable hdr on the cube. Is this true

Sorry didnt realise managed to get new 2nd gen 4k for £25 so happy with that i suppose
