Thank you for telling the object of the game first. You spare me the headache I got from other videos because of the frustration.
Thank you so much for this. One of my dear friends who passed away in January introduced me to this game and I just bought it so I can share it with my new friends at my new medical school. Having the video is like having my friend explaining it to me. Thanks!!!!
You’re very welcome! I’m glad I could help!
This is brilliant! Thanks and good luck growing the channel!

A+ - instructions were great!! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the video. Can you clarify why, at 8:15 you didn't move one of the red tiles to the red square... and similarly, why at 8:33 you didn't move the white-and-blue tiles nor the red-and-yellow tiles?
Hi! Thank you for the question. If I’m understanding correctly, the confusion is from the tiles that are left behind. If that’s the case then no problem. The reason those weren’t moved is because you only move tiles to your wall when you complete en entire line. In the case of the red tiles left behind it’s because there are only 2 of the required 5. Those will stay behind so that you have an opportunity to add to that line next time. The answer is the same for the blue and white and red and yellow. Hope that answers your question.
I've played this before where we til3s the wall during the actual turns, ot after all factories where empty... this allowed for quicker row creations. I wonder which is correct. Others have taught it the way I played.... nice to have the option to do either
Nice tutorial, thanks
You bet! Hope you’ve enjoyed so far.
Thanks, good job!
Thank you!
Thanks
this was so helpful, thank you so much!!
Thank you, for watching!
Oh my goodness, THANK YOU so much for explaining this properly in this video! It really helps to see it visually. I don't know how the game is explained in the other 5 minute videos here on RUclips, you really need the 15 minute on, this one! ( I admit it, I watched a couple 5 minutes videos and couldn't get it).QUESTION: Say there are extra tiles at the end of a tile draw just sitting in the middle that no one needs or can take due to them already fulfilling that tile color in their wall. Do they just get dismissed and added to the "extra" pile? Or do the players have to take a full color and put it in their floor line?
Hi! Thank you for your comment. I appreciate the kind words. As for your question, all tiles from the factory display and the centre of the table must be taken. If you end up with more tiles than you can place, you must place the excess tiles on your floor line. In this way you are able to stick your opponents with extra tiles they don’t need that will cause them to lose points.
How do you know when to stop placing tiles on the pattern wall
How about who lives closest to Portugal goes first lol. Thanks for the vid just got it yesterday.
Really well explained!
Can you for example take 5 yellow tiles from the Center and place them on row 2 and 3? You can only build one row at a time, right?
That’s right. You can only place the tiles you gains onto 1 row. From the rules it states - “add the tiles you picked to ONE of the 5 pattern lines.”
Hope that’s helps. Thanks.
@@goodvibegames2247 thanks!
My sound stopped while playing the video.
I will have to watch this several times before it sinks in, not a simple game is it? 😒
It can certainly take some time to get used to. I hope you can get some enjoyment out of it.
it was quite simple tbh. Watched this vid and played 2 games and i’ve already figured out all the rules
I haven't watched this video, but I'm not inclined to, seeing as I've found that I can teach the game in about 7 minutes without the use of a script or editing...
Hey, that’s great! Gold star for you ⭐️
@@goodvibegames2247 I've since noticed another video that seems to teach Azul in 25 minutes, which puts this in a slightly different perspective... :)
In my opinion, it was better for everything to be explained slowly. I had a hard time understand the other shorter videos.
