Best explanation that I’ve watched out of 3 different videos. Thank you. I’ve had this game for years and haven’t played it! I can’t wait to play now.
Played this once ages ago and loved it. Needed a refresher for when I just gifted it to my wife for valentines day. She is as excited to play as she is to eat the tiles.
After reading the instructions and watching a different video I didn't really understand, but this was such a great and clear explanation! Now I can't wait to play it. Thank you!
So happy to see this! A great game and Becca’s walkthroughs are so wonderful.
this was better than any other video i watched! thanks!
Thank youuuuu
This video really helped us 😭💖💖
I wondered what happened to you, Becca. Glad to see your tutorials back
I've never been to Portugal nor have I retiled anything in my life. I can't play Azul :(
These are good videos, not talking at a zillion miles an hour like most videos, clear, concise, we have this game but havent played in ages, this was a great refresh, thanks
In love with your videos
Wow, thanks very easy to understand
Awesome video!
Thanks for this, I had this game delivered today, taught myself from the instructions but its great to be able to sense check your understanding, great video and hoping a great game.
Azul is such a great game & it really deserves to be more well known. Simple, strategic, pretty, no pile of maths to do at the end. The only thing that could improve it is if it actually was edible.
they do be looking yummie doe
If you use tiny Cornish Pasties instead of tiles, it is!
@@thenathanimal2909 Ooh!
Use Starburst candies instead of tiles?
How exactly isn't Azul well known? It's in every store, along with Catan, Risk or Monopoly.
Super fun 🖤
Great Tutorial for. Great game.
Thanks Becca! Coincidentally was trying to remember how to play this game the other day!
And on the 5 different horizontals on the left side of the board, do I also have to use five different colors beneath/above each other every round or am I allowed to fill two horizontals on the left with the same colors??
thanks!
FINALLY a good explanation
This is great, thank you! You do such a good job of presenting in an engaging way while not coming off as dorky or over the top. Super impressive!! I aspire to that level of coolness. :)
Hi Becca, just wanted to say Thanks for your very complete and concise explanation. My friend's group was looking for a new fun game to play! Thanks to your video, we picked it up really quickly, and Azul was a big hit!!! Looking forward to trying the other games from your videos in the future 😁👍
I have a question. If you pick up 4 red tiles, and you want to put them on a line with 3 spots, you have to put one of the tiles to the floor line, right? But if next turn, you take another red tile, can you put it to another horizontal line? Or isnt it allowed to have 2 lines with the same type of tiles? I suspect it is, since i have seen it in the video, but to be sure
As long as the same color is not already on that same horizontal line or on the wall on the same line, you can put as many rows of the same color as you wish. You can't however use one hand of tiles to fill mutliple rows.
Our variant for "visiting Portugal" is whoever too the most recent poop.
Solid choice. (At least we hope...)
Spoiler alert: I always go first.
I’ve always wondered if anyone’s tried to make an app that randomly generates one of those quirky first player rules.
Gosh, I wish all media was this positive and upbeat. They don’t make it like this anymore!
Good, short and concise explanation, Thank You!! 😊🙏
does the starting player tile stays at one person for the whole game or after one round it goes back in the middle until someone picks it up again?
It goes back into the middle each round
Hello from Portugal. Great game. Azul in portuguese means blue :)
Acho que chamaram de Azul porque "Azulejos" é uma palavra maior e mais difícil de pronunciar (para eles).
Your instructions are easy to understand compared to others on here, I'm glad I found your video, now I can play!
Still haven't had a chance to play this. It looks cool
While I personally would turn the dramatic knob a touch to the left (not too much), I found the video's content well-organized, comprehensive, and helpful. Thank you!
Ok this is clear
I'm in love.
Beca, what do you think of the tiny epic games? :D
Does not explain what is a "wall"? I jave to watch other videos and come back
The scoring sounds illogical to me..
You get 2 points for every horizontal line, but the game ends when a player fills a horizontal line?
That was going to be my question. I'm sure the written instructions clarify this.
Yes. After the first player completes a horizontal line, the remaining players will all complete their tiling phase, so it is entirely possible that they too will complete a horizontal line. Or a vertical line.
But it is also possible that the player who completes the first horizontal line will complete their 2nd or 3rd line at the same time, so they receive 2 points for each line.
I was going to buy the game but it looks incredibly boring? ( I realise that it's very popular) Maybe it's just not my sort of game. Good explanation though.
That’s a lot of buttons!
It sucks being dumb. I don’t understand this game
So only one person is going to get a 2 point bonus for the horizontal line
Not necessarily. Two people could complete a horizontal row in the final round. Been there. Done that.
Great explanation and beautiful woman.
Great video love it!
Becca how can I contact you for a question?
I don't want to be creepy and wish to do this in the appropriate manner that suits you as well
Becca streams quite often on twitch.tv/TheBeccaScott so you can ask general stuff in the chat there (generally any videogame stream is quite chatty), or there's an email for business enquiries.
umm, dude, i don't think that's appropriate
That’s a weird thing to say.
2:20 explain better. Makes no sense.
didnt understand sh!t
Mmmm Becca 🥵
