your 1st tip makes sense but your example doesn't. because when kentarosmon comes into play he can target up to 5 digimon, but that wouldn't effect any digimon that would be in the raising area. so they would be allowed to attack and hit security... otherwise other card effects would be destroying the raising area digimon left and right
Broooo you was reading my mind on this topic,I sold out my pokemon stuff and FINALLY playing this game.Ur a awesome player and this advice definitely helps ,when I played pokemon tcg I had to get this mindset so now I wanna get this same way with digimon and your videos are gonna definitely help me out, keep up the the GODLIKE CONTENT BROTHA, hopefully we get to play each other soon
Gotta start calling you the Digimon Guru. Started watching your channel about 2 months ago and saw the digimon content. Really excited to see the tcg coming out in a few weeks. And your tips are just what i need to get ready for the release. Keep up the tremendous work.
I play Gallantmon and my practice opponent is a yellow player. He's always so happy to have 6, even 7, security. And he loves his Ken/option cards that take away my security checks. But I take my time, counter his tower builds, and wait to build his trash up before I play Gallantmon and start ripping his security like a hot knife to butter. The look on his face when Gallantmon is ripping 3 security before I even do my checks is so sweet. Lol
Guys, the release date has been changed to next month. Bandai says COVID has been a serious issue and they didn't expect so many people around the world ordering the game. Please tell other people
After getting my Digimon Vital Bracelet and finding a new friend or many actually at work that enjoy digimon I am going hard into this game too. I had a lot of digimon cards as a kid but no1 was playing it. Now I have peoples :) Videos like yours make it easier rather than a lot of inconsistent guess work. Thanks my dude
Good concepts, all of which apply to every card game (with minor adjustments to the don't let security beat you). I would recommend throwing up all the cards that you're talking about on screen for people who are newer to the game.
great tips, will be trying some of these in the upcoming ppg events, got any tips on black decks playstyle viable builds etc. I am trialing turbo millenniummon at this time.
Thanks for the tips Steven, the competive scene is starting to pick up in my area and I can't wait for the game to release so I can final start making my deck. Honestly I'm kind of hoping to go for a Machinedramon/Wargreymon deck. Also that tip on protecting yourself from big plays...learned that the hard way when battling two purple decks. I really hate Trump sword and devimon.
I love how the first tip is basically just "read cards" which is going to be very hard for the Yugioh players trying this game. I should know, I am one!
I started playing the dbs tcg when it was first announced and it was just fun to collect the cards and make your own way to competitive deck building from that point on. Now dbs is all about power creep (just like any tcg) and there was a timeperiod of 3 month i had no time to collect or build something up. 2 old Decks still worked well but its just no fun to dig into 5 new cardskills after such a short period. Now i started digimon with two purple starters and two 1.5 displays. I hope digimon doesn't paces too fast, because i think a slow pacing makes the game better. Can you do a Video about the possible powercreep in digimon and what Sets/cards are crucial to start off with a very good base?
If someone is playing a colour combo deck (i.e. Red/Yellow) and they only have a Yellow Digi on the board. You swing for their security, and it's a gaia force, it still activates. Correct?
@@TrueChampionSteven Thanks Steven. I couldn’t find it anywhere on the web. Loving the content. I’m hoping you keep it up for those of us who are waiting for Jan(Now Feb?) boxes.
And because of that rule, there's decks called Security Control, which are full of powerful option cards that destroy digimon or recover your security, and only play a few digimon, mostly lv6 and 7s!
Hope this video helps, it was a ton of fun to make!! Thinking about a sequel 🤔 What’s been some of your biggest issues when playing the Digimon TCG??

Thanks you Steven! Sitting at my job at Pro Play Games packaging cards watching your good material, love it!
Keep up the good work madood! People need their Salamangreat cores XD
Amazing info! Some of these I began to notice when testing but all of these make so much sense looking back at my old games!
The game state rule of thumb applies to all card games, great advice.
This game is dope as hell and still learning how to become a good player. This video still helps me till this day 🔥🔥👍🏾👍🏾

Man I have just discovered your channel and it's awesome!! New subscirber here :)
Great video as always! Keep going man!
Big THANKS for all your videos!

Any info on how to beat Blue/Red Omnimon? Things to watch for, when to play your outs to the deck, etc.
Anything specific you're looking for?
It's June 2021 and at this point many different Digimon decks are able to beat those two decks.

You’re welcome madood and yea purple can be so annoying sometimes with their disruptions haha
Great video Steven!

Today I evolved a level 3 to 5 and didn’t notice so I lost some memory there and it sucks so make sure you pay attention

I like how number 3 was just dont be a greedy bitch lol
Legit great content
I just started getting into this game and these videos are helpful unfortunately I learn by playing and no one within 30 miles of me plays
Steven it’s no longer coming out later this month....... sucks

Yes security effects don’t require any colors in order to activate

Lol at tip #5, most people don't even read the rules in this game
It's extrapolate
too soon/too late since release is delayed again
Till when?
