I don't think so. But you can adjust the water to grind ratio in settings. For example 2 to 1 water to grind ratio vs 2.5 or 3 to 1 water to grind ratio would make it weaker.
Do you mean as opposed to pods or something faster? I'd say it depends entirely on what you value out of a coffee solution. In our household we have people that want brewed coffee, espresso, and barista-style milk drinks. So for us, we have really enjoyed this machine so far. Personally, I find the brewed coffee experience to be pretty low effort overall and I'm usually off doing something else in the kitchen during the 3 minute brew time. Previous to this we were a dissatisfied Nespresso household and had been living in that state for around a year. So this has felt like a welcome upgrade so far. Maybe we are still in a honeymoon period, time will tell. My biggest gripe is how frequently the water tray needs to be emptied.
@@POVeatsHQ okay, so maybe i am not the "barista", but i like, what my Delonghi Dinamica can offer me. Simple in use and versatile in variations of coffee. For me It's the "one touch", what make a fully automatic coffee machine more interesting. Of course, tastes are different and handling is also personal. For my one coffee pot in the morning or the espresso in the afternoon the Dinamica is more practical.
Can you set it to girnd for a 12 oz cup and then use a 16 oz to brew it? I like my coffee weaker.....

Why didn't you tamp your grind?
Because I'm making a brewed coffee (not an espresso) so you don't tamp.
It says you should tamp for 16oz or more when brewing drip. But on smaller cups the pamphlet says no need. Hope that helps
Is it really worth this time and effort?

Is it good? lol
Personally I find it way better than Nespresso but not as good as pour over.
Takes 3 days to make 2 Americano coffee 😂
