    Hey buddy, the last part of your video really tugged at my heart strings. I have only seen a few videos, but as I am currently waiting on my Ninja Luxe Cafe to be delivered, AND as someone that has had Ninja coffee machines for 6 years, AND as someone that has never had any experience making espresso, THANK YOU. You are not 'Just A Dad', you are a hero to people like me. I am SOOO excited for my machine to get here, I keep refreshing my FedEx page to see the package status, but you share my excitement and happiness. Cannot wait to watch the rest of your videos on this amazing machine. The bottom of my heart, thank you!

    Not sure if you realized but you have to twist your tamper before use to activate the internal spring mechanism. I see your tamper is not spring activated, I learned the hard way. They should add another sticker that notes you need to twist top of tamper. After that the tamper works amazingly! The tamper should spring up after you apply the downward pressure 😆

    Thanks to Ninja for that removable sticker on top! Can’t tell you how many stickers that basically are permanent that I’ve tried to remove and more than half of the sticker remained on the machine. Well done Ninja, it’s the little things that count. Looks like a great machine at a great price. Can’t wait until I can actually buy one in Canada…..
    Great video! You think of everything and all my questions and concerns were addressed.
    It does appear your tamper wasn’t working properly.
    Thank you for this great video!

    I returned the Delonghi Eletta Explore for the Ninja Luxe Cafe. I will never need 50 types of coffee and the Ninja does what I need. Also can’t do latte art on the Explore. The Ninja I can put in manual mode and get perfect microfoam. Plus I got it for $450 versus a $2000 machine. It’s a no brainer. I got extra insurance on the machine too just in case. My only gripe is no hot water dispenser and no single shot espresso. A double shot gets me waaaay too wired 😂 Other than that this is the perfect machine!

    • @JT-zy2ft
      @JT-zy2ft 3 месяца назад

      @@haha7836hahah ninja machine is still very new and like with all new appliances reliability could be an issue. Barista express has been around for awhile so it has more history.
      Also the two machines are really for two different groups of coffee drinkers. Ninja is more for a regular coffee drinker who really doesn’t want to dive deep into coffee whereas the breville is more for the beginner coffee enthusiast.

    • @JT-zy2ft
      @JT-zy2ft 3 месяца назад +1

      In my opinion I would hold off on that. Barista express has been around awhile and is built to last. There’s a reason it’s sold so many units. Ninja is a kitchen appliance company and longevity may be an issue with this.

    I'm not sure what's wrong with your tamper. It is spring-loaded, and yours seems jammed. Mines makes a perfectly flat packed puck. You really should even out your grounds before tamping. Your pucks did not look good at all. Im also not sure how you have so much wiggle room with the grinder settings. I use petes major Dickinsons blend. Its a dark roast, and im at grind setting 1. Cant go any finer
