Is this for the K900? Had a lot of vibration recently when my wife braked hard. Trying to figure out if this is from a warped rotor or the way the ABS works. Any thoughts?
Jeff Thomas does it vibrate after driving for a while or is it just constant? It could very well be the rotors are warped. Also you could have a bent wheel if it does it being cool or warm or right after takeoff.
No. You just needed to depress the pedal about 5 times before the first drive so the pads would seat to the rotors. Sometimes if you have squeaks, it could be the friction material on the pads. Also make sure your pins are seated correctly.
Now does that have an electronic parking break? I've never had a car with one before so I was just curious if that makes me have to do anything different
@@Icanfixit-2 maybe thats what confused me so my car has been having some issues where I get in it and the sunroof seems like there's no power then next time I get in it, it's fine and one night I shut the car off and the auto hold was on and after the car was off for a few seconds I heard some break engage and my e break light came on and the sound came from the front lol so that I thought it was up front
George Person it’s not hard at all. You have two 19mm bolts to remove for the caliper bracket and retaining screw for the rotors. Once all removed, it just slides off.
you ever do the rear pads and rotors for a 2018 g80
I need to make one and upload. The rear is pretty simple too.
when you do let me know
@@dontew90 definitely!💯
Nice video. Very helpful

What brake pads/brand you recommend for 2015 genesis G80?
Colette Dubose ceramic are better.

Yes. But the electric brake doesn’t make a difference on the front. On the back, make sure it isn’t engaged while trying to service them.
@@Icanfixit-2 oh really it's on the back? I engaged it once and it sounded like it was in the front
@@mikehunt5749 yes sir. Unless you are thinking about the auto hold feature.

@@mikehunt5749 wow! That could be it my friend.
How much harder is it to replace the rotors on the same car
