    Yeah, you need a plain egg or something like a Takayama Scorpion. Speed eggs need chest to OH waves. Longer period with more push.

    Hi Man, loving you content! What tracking camera do you use?

    • @SkipperSurfReview
      @SkipperSurfReview  2 года назад

      Hey Slug! I use Soloshot 3 Optic 25 automatic camera that tracks me. I also have Soloshot Optic 65. Check out my review on it a while back. ruclips.net/video/P7IhmnsLF1Q/видео.html
      If you decide getting one, I would recommend going to Ebay or Facebook Marketplace but make sure you get buyer's protection in case it doesn't work you can return or get your money back. Let me know if you have any questions!

    Dude you need to try the Lost Crowd Killer. Pretty much a bigger scaled Psycho Killer

      Oh nice! One of my surf buddies have it and he always scores! I may have to borrow it :)

      @@SkipperSurfReview One of my go to’s. You have a to surf it like a shortboard also. Think they just did a Lib Tech version also.

    Could you review a Torq Chopper midlength? Not a single review anywhere on the internet...

      I will check with my buddies in Rockaway if they have one.

    Is this similar board to Big Baron ? .... And which do you prefer

    • @SkipperSurfReview
      @SkipperSurfReview  Год назад

      Hey!! No, the Big Baron is more versatile, it's also faster. However the Mid Length Crisis would give you more confidence to draw lines with 2+1 setup. I would only surf it when it's 3ft and bigger ~overhead for sure.

    Pyzel UK @ Ocean Magic surfboards make a twin fin version of the midlife crisis not that I've tried one or a single+2 midlife but people who I know who've got them say they go better in good surf definitely not a groveller 🤙

    Hi. what about this one versus a Hypto Krypto 6'10 with 53 litres?

      Hey! I think Hypto is meant to be surfed shorter. I don’t see any reason to get Hypto in big size. It’s going to be so boaty. I did like the mid length crisis when the waves had more size. It’s holding great. It’s not for small days though.

    how would you compare this board to the seaside and beyond?

    • @SkipperSurfReview
      @SkipperSurfReview  2 года назад +4

      Hey Jerry! The Seaside & Beyond (LFT) would go better in smaller waves with more flow. It’s got more foam under your chest, thicker and forgiving rails and wider deck. It would suit better beginners vs intermediate level surfers. The Mid Length Crisis has less room for mistakes but it allows you to push harder in good waves, handle much easier late drops and not have corky feel unlike The Seaside & Beyond. Hope this helps!

      @@SkipperSurfReview thanks for your input. I have the 6'8" seaside and beyond and agree with yah!
