This video taught me that if you’re chasing down a lineman with the ball, his faster teammates will kamikaze the shit outta you to give their boy a chance at the endzone.
Absolutely. That’s real sportsmanship. They do everything they can to protect him and make his run a winning one. That’s really cool! That’s team play at its BEST!
That was the first time I'd rooted for a Patriots touchdown since Super Bowl XX. Much as I hated the team, I SO wanted the big guy to make it to the end zone.
people seem to forget just because these guys are 6’6 300 pounds that these guy are slow and unathletic. These guys are hella fast for there size and especially NFL guys. They can move for real.
0:25 Love watching Wilfork running with the ball, like he just stole someone’s lunch. Hated it when he left New England. 0:36 Dan Connolly, too. Dan was so slow his blocking caught up to him and allowed him to make more yards.
Every lineman picks a perk when signing to the NFL called "Unstoppable Wall of Force" that gives them insane motivation for the tinyest chance they ever get the ball. I live for those moments
I love how when offensive lineman get a ball, they don't hesitate. "They're not like "what do I do with this?", they just immediately start advancing the ball to make a play for the team
I always feel bad for the losers, but I always feel joy for the winners. Exceptional plays and Unexpected success are amazing ! And then I root for the losers again. Until they're winning , Then I switch sides again
I love seeing the players react when there is a turnover, offensive players have to tackle and they suck at it and defenders have to carry the ball and block.
I remember watching an Eagles game a good twenty years ago or so against the 49ers and the 49ers fumbled the ball on the Eagles three yard line, one of their linemen recovered it and ran 97 yards for the TD. He had to be one of the front four because he was huge and I think his footsteps registered on the local seismographs.
One of the more surprising stats in Pro Football. Mike Vrabel, linebacker for the Patriots, has ten receptions in fourteen tries. All for a touchdown. Total yardage, 14!
This video taught me that if you’re chasing down a lineman with the ball, his faster teammates will kamikaze the shit outta you to give their boy a chance at the endzone.
KAMIKAZE 😭
Oh I get the reference what you’re saying, like the f4f wildcat was shooting a Japanese G4M Betty and than the A6M Zero kamikaze the wildcat

The way JJ Watt moves cannot be described as "lumbering." He is going FAST
dude looks like a tight end out there
Watt shouldn't be in this video: he's just NOT in the same category as Vince Wilfork and the rest!
He’s a DE many are built like linebackers he shouldn’t be in there. I wanna see tackles and guards only . Maybe a center
@@jjuliandagoat he was a TE in high school and played TE in college a bit
He would have gotten caught without his teammates blocks lol
As a former lineman, that is the highlight of our lives to either run back a pick or fumble
I was always taught to jump on the ball as a defensive lineman. I know for a fact that I could've had a couple of touchdowns
@@omegaweapon116 same here but I wanted the tip ball
I love watching how the quicker guys will run to defend the slow big guy carrying the ball.
@The Highlander They know that the moment means everything to these guys
It's amazing how all of them immediately react to sprint and block for them. 😂
I mean, flying in formation just works. It's really hard to get in there.
Like Ants protecting the queen
And they absolutely deck people on the blocks
I love when Connolly broke free and Collinsworth says "You gotta be kidding me". So hilarious.
Linemen with the ball.. every one has unstoppable motivation for 10 seconds
Dan Connolly not finishing the run with a TD is the greatest travesty in NFL history
Totally deserved it. Great block at the 35, then the inside move on the kicker and the safety. Amazing run.
That was the first time I'd rooted for a Patriots touchdown since Super Bowl XX. Much as I hated the team, I SO wanted the big guy to make it to the end zone.
I'm a packers fan, and this play is equally frustrating and fascinating
* greatest tragedy

what are r u saying bro
u are completely wrong except for jj watt and maybe taylor lewan they are running 20 yards in 5 seconds ur trippin
The Lions D-Lineman was Shaun Rogers who was 370 lbs. That guy was fast as hell for a 370lb person.
These NFL big men (other than Watt) look slow compared to the “skill players” but they are very athletic and would outrun most ordinary people
@@blikkyikkyuh4321 They are fast for their size. You can obviously read that if you have a brain
J.J watt is fast
best part is the dive at 1:25
Amen
Its not even a dive, its a whale beaching lmao
Shaun Rogers of the Lions. Dude was 370lbs. That wasn't a dive or a whale beaching. That was a building falling down lol
He was like “whoooo lawwwd thank ya!!!!!”

There seems to be no ball carrier more defended than a lineman. Its like they KNOW this is about to be an epic play.
There really something so satisfying about seeing the giant dudes rumbling and stumbling around with the ball
When a lineman gets the ball everyone is rooting for a touchdown.
I for one welcome our new Lineman Running Back overlords!
A touchdown is always that much sweeter when the big man makes it! Cheers to lineman everywhere😎😎😎
That lineman kick return was the best. I remember watching that game laughing my ass off.
Vince wilfork is just a beast
As a fellow former D-lineman I love to see when guys get a chance to return the rock
Man-That guard with the kick return was definitely a skill position guy in a past life
The fact that guys this size can even run like that proves that they’re probably the best athletes in the field
Larry Allen running down the DB after the interception is the best lineman run ever.
“I love to see a fat guy score!” -John Madden
Watts post game press speech this past weekend drove shivers up my spine. What a speech. Guy loves football and doesnt take a day of it for granted.
damn jj watt fast as shit wtf, he needs to be a TE
I'm pretty sure he was a TE (high school + a part of college I think)

Incomplete without the Keith “Tractor” Traylor runback back in 2001.
I Just Love how the teammates celebrate them even If they dont score.
Watt certainly wasn't lumbering, he looked fast!
Big men need the ball more!

That Patriots kickoff return was probably only time I ever rooted for them to score lol
0:36 I was in New England for this one!! Fucking amazing atmosphere after DC ran that back! The stadium was BUZZING for like 5-10 solid minutes!
notice how these guys are hitting them with all they got and it still takes a few of them
James Harrison's SB pick-6 was The most prolific & memorable Big Guy TD!
The kickoff return by the lineman has to be the most epic return ever for a big man.
This does put a smile on my face 🥺😂
0:45 - Dammit, I didn't score. Now I'm completely gassed and have to line up for the next play.
Best big guy moments
no matter what team you line, you always cheer on the lineman if they get that ball
Remember the "Fridge"?
I ran out of breath just watching these guys. 😂
You just gotta love the big jolly fellas! 😁
JJ was a tightend in high school
JJ Watt shifted
Forgot Big Sam Gash returning a Brady interception for a pick six....epic!!!
These guys are still probably faster than most people watching this video, a lot of them can break 5 seconds in the forty
This actually should happen more often in games there is no louder crowd than when a big guy is rumbling down the field 😂
I can't help but laugh at the qb's chasing after them thinking they'll be able to solo tackle the big guys.
Imagine being that huge and running that fast.
I love how when offensive lineman get a ball, they don't hesitate. "They're not like "what do I do with this?", they just immediately start advancing the ball to make a play for the team
I do like it when the big guys get their hands on the ball and rumble.
That kick off return!! Lol 🔥🔥
That second one got some great blocks. 😂
I absolutely love the commentators reaction.
0:25 Wilferd forgot where to line up and said, "I'll just sit out here and play corner". 😂
Even as a Packer fan I am disappointed not seeing the "Refrigerator" touchdown score.
this is one of the reasons i love football. the linemans dream sequence lol
Every lineman’s dream
0:29 I watched that game it was so fun after he caught it he ran then was shown on the bench with a oxygen mask lmao.
Those 80 yards were 50 yards further than he'd ever run before 😂😂😂

Forgot to show keith traylor dt for bear int ball on screen pass and runs it back 70 yards
The only way from stopping them from rolling into the end zone is a cardiac arrest 😂
Greatest block ever on the second play
Which one? #54 blocks the QB nonstop for about 50 yards. The block of the closer Lion was good too though.

The second guy is the definition of savage, he runs until the end and just collapses
