This video was so informative and well done. I'd like a vet like this.

      here's several tips for hypothyroidism
Make sure you rest your feet
      Consider Wearing supportive footwear
      Use ice on your heel
Try ibuprofen or another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug to reduce pain and inflammation
      Wear night splints
      Try stretching and strengthening exercises.
(I read these and the reasons they work on Quintrell Thyroid Plan website )

My Irish Terrier was just diagnosed with hypothyroidism. My encounter with our vet went down pretty much exactly as above, which gave me reassurance. Our girl (puppy mill rescue) is probably about 8 yr. She's been sleeping a LOT and I noticed her hair thinning around her neck and sides, and a spot of thinning on her tail. She will start her thyroid replacement pills tomorrow. We are eager to see her perky again! Thanks for the good video.

My dog Bailey ( the blondie on the right) was recently diagnosed with Hypothyroidism. The vet said she is boarder line. She is a pretty active dog ( nearing 9 years of age.) and not over weight. However she does get frequent ear infections and has skin trouble. Is this normal for thyroid problems in dogs?

My Sheltie, Goldie is 7 yrs old. She is turning 8 in a couple of weeks. Goldie is a sheltie therefore she is prone to Hypothyroidism. I could not tell if what she has been having is hypothyroidism. She has loss hair around her bottom half and left back/bottom. She is always tired just because she is a little old because she may live up to 13 - 15. She also scratches alot. She gets this often because of something she eats. The most recent time she got is the reason she has it now. Me and my family went on a trip to my sister's house. And we had to leave Goldie at my grandmother's house. When we picked her up she had lost hair. She is always heavy and we did not see a change in weight. Im not sure if all of this is just a rash or hypothyroidism if someone could please reply and help me with this it would help! Thanks for your time!

My dog has been diagnosed Hypothyroid (low T4) but has lost weight yet ravenous for food and obsessed with drinking water...and peeing in the house/bed.
The pills elevated his T4 to normal but he still wants water and pees inside.
    Any ideas?
