We have a small condo in Fountain Hills and spend winters there. Made me miss my AZ home. And, no, we're not rich. My husband says we live in the low rent area of a high rent town. Love Fountain Hills!
My cousin was the architectual designer for that fountain. He told me that it was capable of shooting water about 500 ft. high, but it is set to go about half that distance in elevation. Fountain Hills was developed by Mc Culloch Enterprises. My cousin has alot of historical info about the pre-planning of Fountain Hills. Mc Culloch also purchased the London Bridge, and had it moved to Lake Havasu City in 1971. My uncle was the project manager responsible for the develoment of that community, and was very tight with McCulloch. Great vlog, thank you!
Fountain Hills reminds me a little of an area outside San Diego called "Blossom Valley." I lived on the poor side of the San Diego River, looking 900' above me at the $million+ homes, and thought, "Who says money can't buy happiness?" I imagine many other viewers feel the same way about Fountain Hills. (I may not be rich, but at least I escaped California!!!---and before you ask: NRA Life Member over 40 years.
The fountain goes off at the top of the hour if it is not too windy. Big bicycling area between Fountain Hills and Rio Verde also. The McDowell regional park four miles out gets a lot of campers and hikers too. Good video Jeff.
watching this after the Jerome virtual tour. quick ?, would you buy in the north hills of Jerome for way-more bang for your buck or the Fountain Hill Desert Oasis Mt View?
@@LivinginArizona thank you I will look that up or if you could do a video explaining that and the distance. I'm ready to leave NYC and try something new. We experience Florida life for 3 wonderful years. Now try some of that dry heat. You and big super living in Arizona and Chocolatevegan. You guys are doing a great job educating people about Arizona . Peace and love
@@homelessmillionaire1 I know it's a desert. I guess you didn't understand my question? It's ok because I asked how far is the beaches from Arizona? I'm on the right RUclips channel. Nice try buddy..,
Where the F in AZ is Fountain Hills??? It seems like yuou don't say anything about that in your video. I'm assuming it's in the greater Phoenix area, but that's just a wild guess...

One of the best places to live in the US,

Thank you, I love all the neighborhood tours!
Good times here, I moved here from Los Angeles last July and I’m never leaving. It’s a great community.
How are you liking the summers here in AZ?
Nice tour! The place is amazing! Thanks for sharing! I love it
Wonderful town.
Thanks for this one, I always wanted to visit that place!
Arizona is beautiful.
Another epic video love it family.
Good to know. Thank you for the quick reply :)
I lived in Gilbert, love fountain hills park!
Nice...a bit like Kamloops in Canada
Nice to visit it to see the sites.
Seems nice
Selling my home, getting a travel trailer, and going to live here in an RV park. I do pool maintenance and repair too so can make good money here.
Lovely community. Vote Joe Arapaio for Mayor in 2024 to keep it that way!
I was just over there today!
Very nice area
Hey Jeff, I was there this weekend looking at places; what are your thoughts on Goodyear? And I agree with your stance on telleson... No thanks.
Nice area

Beautiful area. One must have a lot of money to be there. Is it cooler than the rest of Arizona?
Maybe a couple degrees cooler than Phoenix not much.
One does not need to be rich. A great place.
Love fh
Are there any street lights in that area? I didn’t see any.
No. Nice because of that.
Didn't see the fountain 😡😡
How far is the nearest beaches in AZ?
San Diego or Rocky Point Mexico.
Arizona is a desert, If you're looking for a beach, you're on the wrong RUclips channel

@Pen or Sword which is greater you are the wrong channel that no one wants to come back to exactly...
How about some info help for low fixed-income retirees please?
It can work here.

There’s something called the internet. Great place to find things. Try it sometime..
It is literally landlocked to the Northeast portion of Scottsdale.
NE of Phoenix. Only 30 minutes from the airport.
Sad Arizona is dying now. Not economically but resource wise.....water.....climate change.
Only if you can afford it, which i dont think you can.
One can.
Must been asked for this video by people with big bucks...........not for the average Joe (can 't afford it)
Above average, but not overly pricey.
I love living in Fountain Hills. I'm lucky!!!! Wish more gays would move here!! Lol!!
