Such a good video bro 🔥, you go over every little detail that people want to see, especially talking about exactly how you shoot during the games (this is the information i needed!), great work man keep it up! 🔥👍
Hey man, I really like the video. I have a Sony A7iii, but the quality does not look good when I film it in 1080. Do you recommend a specific setting to get better quality?
i'm shooting a 2-day tournament that my dad put together next weekend, men's (open and masters (old ass guys) divisions, as well as juniors (dunno what their divisions are called). i've made a highlight video for him in the past, but of course, i want to make it better this time around. so here i am checkin' out your video. since the last video i put together for him (like 5-6 years ago), i've upgraded all my gear. i'm planning on 1 cam handheld switching between 2 lenses (28-75 & 70-180, both f2.8), and cam 2 (w/ 20-40f2.8) dedicated to gimbal work. i have a couple other things in mind that could potentially set my video apart from other highlight vids out there. we'll see how it goes. wish me luck haha!🤞🏽🤞🏽
Dope tips bro! I record alot of my hoop sessions on Saturday mornings and was needed tips on making my vids better....I'm gonna definitely try these out next session but I really need to upgrade my camera cause I'm actually just using my phone and my canon camera whenever my phone run out of storage or dies 😅....but yo new sub here and looking forward to more dope vids from you! Keep grind bro! 💪🏾
Would you recommend the Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 over the 24-70 Sigma & 70-200 GM II combo? Since 35 is wild enough to shoot from baseline and 150 is enough to get the other side of the court… (shooting with FX3)
when u say track the ball, how exactly? what i mean is in one of the clips in ur video the square is tracking the ball and im curious how ur able to do that? or are you just saying focus mostly on the ball?
if you are on a buget buy a canon r8, worth every dollar even with the compromises, bought mine open box for 1400 cad ($500 off) and this camera is obsurd. if you arent strict on purchasing sony id argue to get the r8 instead of a a7 iv and invest in glass like a ef 70-200 2.8 ii
Can you come to my basketball game next Saturday to record my game at St. Peter's? My GCBA basketball game starts at 10:30am. Can you come around 9:45am. I'll be there. The location to St. Peter's is on Challemange Street in Canada.
There's always someone in front and behind you. His tips are going to appeal to beginners and there is nothing wrong with that. The experienced people will know if he said something less than optimal and will ignore, but the newbies will get something they didn't know and be grateful. So what is the point of your comment? For the sake of gatekeeping?
@@creatorcology he so focused on trynna be a content influencer, he need to focus on getting better and honing his craft, THEN he can teach someone. Right now his videos don’t look any different than 99% of the other novice shooters.
then why dont you do it an show him how instead of watching his videos just to be a troll you got such a problem with it then lets see you do better @@superemesean5907
Just helping beginners get to where I've been able to get with little to no help from RUclips. RUclips lacks in the field of Sports Photography & Videography tips. Just helping out in a field where people like yourself would rather gatekeep. Then again... where's your work? Submit it in my "Rating My Subs" video. I'll be sure to give you a very honest rating😊

yes, 100%
Are you holding the focus button down continuously when tracking the ball?
Can you get a similar video-mixtape shooting with a Google Pixel?
Nice one
Thank you very helpfull tips question 17-70 tamron on an a7iii for basketball can punch in like my 70-180 full frame
What is the questions?
is a 55-210 lens as good as two seperate lenses that do the same range
As long as it's a 2.8, you're good.
What app do you use for editing
How did you get the designs on your camera
I'm want to learn videography, i just don't know which apps to edit with and which ones are the easiest, do you have any softwares that can help??
So when u are at 1/250 are u in slow motion ? Thanks
when u say track the ball, how exactly? what i mean is in one of the clips in ur video the square is tracking the ball and im curious how ur able to do that? or are you just saying focus mostly on the ball?
When I say track the ball, I don't mean to record the ball. Use the ball as a guide as to who you should be recording.

Can i do it with a phone?
Hey please is it possible for me to zoom an object myself while my camera is on autofocus mode or the camera will do that itself???
Great tips and hank you! Would you suggest using tripods if I want to record the whole game?
For a basketball game, I wouldn't recommend it.
can we get the lighting tutorial with the accent color 👀
Newark Tech.... Go Terriers!!!!

Check the A6700 bro
What’s a decent price to charge someone to record their son’s high school game?
how many batteries do you run thru per event\shoot?
I always keep 4-5 on me. Never really need more than 2-3.
@@DTVprods. thanks! ✊🏽
is a 24-105 f4 bad?? like too bad for good quality??
F4 should be more than fine given the sensors on the new cameras. Especially if you look at Sony a7iv or A7siii with dual iso.
Which ND filter do you recommend?
I don’t know the brands that way, just make sure you get a good quality one. Do research on it before you buy.
bro you speaking way too fast...nice work tho
I’ll try to speak slower moving forward, for this video, try putting the playback speed at x0.75, should help.
It’s fine with me
He speaking fast but I'm catching on only because I know what he's about to say
dont take advice from someone that aint been shooting more than a year lol rookies trynna school ppl when they don't know sh*t.
