Your efforts to assist in "budget-friendly" pieces is much appreciated. It can be a struggle for aging women to try to be somewhat stylish and remain on budget. It can actually be fun to add a current style piece (that is affordable) to an existing classic wardrobe. And btw ... hot pink is definitely one of your colours.
Loving that you are doing something for all the price points it makes the site more inclusive. I love natural fibres , but like you I realise not everyone can afford them, it’s not just buying the pieces it’s about the maintenance of them, dry cleaning costs a fortune

I agree with you…and I’m a linen lover on a polyester budget…I have to shop the thrift stores in. nearby upscale neighborhood. I’ll gladly take their gently worn (some NEVER worn with tags) castoffs. I’ve got some beautiful linen shift dresses…classic blouses and also some beautiful leather belts.

I watched a European video recently where they shared the correct way to wear a turtleneck is to tuck it inside instead of outside; as is typical in the USA. I have a sweater that is a light knit and usually had to double fold it for the outside but I didn't have to fold it at all once I tucked it inside. Worked like a dream and looks fabulous! I really enjoyed all the tips in this video!

I don't feel the Scoop line is fast fashion. It's very well made and the line doesn't come out every six weeks.

Unfortunately many of these items are out of stock. I guess it is great that you are so popular, but the pants have been sold out since your first post. Coat is also sold out in my size. I will keep checking back as they do sometimes restock. Great items. Thanks for the post. I’m a big J McLaughlin fan as well. Their quality is unsurpassed and I like the timeless styles for the more pricey items.

I don’t want cheap that’s chic. I want natural fibers. Real well made clothing that will last and has tailoring features that look better on my body. I’d rather have better quality than quantity of clothing. I’d rather save up, and buy something nicer. I hate fast fashion. I don’t want to wear plastic. I’ve removed all polyester fabrics from my closet recently. They are in bags in my closet. If I don’t miss them this winter, I’m gonna sell them.
Erin, I completely agree with you. If you're going to spend money, then read labels and buy natural not "recycled" fabrics that should be dry-cleaned. Recycled and synthetic fibers must be washed & barely last 1 season. Natural fibers are classic & classy; they never go out of style & can be updated with scarves, belts, footwear, jewelry, outerwear & handbags. Quality is timeless; synthetics are disposable, throwaway fashion like a soiled tissue. Give your polyester clothes to a charity & get a tax write-off.
Then the Scoop line isn't for you!

When I was in my teens and twenties I was the same. I made $3-5/hr and I would save and save and buy something of better quality at Banana Republic or J Crew. To me, the best way to look chic, is to buy quality over quantity.

Not to be negative but when you show Walmart clothes, you are very forced. You are not into the clothes. I do pick up things time to time but I was glad to see you actually wearing something.

My perception is Beth loves Scoop and emphasize style at an affordable price point.
It is the delivery of the message lacks the same as most other brands. I do shop at Walmart for clothes more and more as I no longer work.
