    How do professional tennis players stack up against professional pickleball players?
    Jack Sock is one of the best tennis doubles players on the planet and is actually an avid pickleball player. Sam Querrey has recently retired from professional tennis and has set his sights on the pro pickleball scene. They face off against 2 of the best pickleball players in Ben Johns and Matt Wright.

    • @PickleballWill
      @PickleballWill  Год назад +4

      Oh yeah for sure. When I say heavy I mean just years of time out into the sport of tennis and I’m sure they probably were at the very least high level rec tennis players. Ben John’s table tennis experience def gave him a leg up for PB as I feel like it did for mine as well.

    • @tomr6955
      @tomr6955 Год назад +7

      Don't forget though that they have to already be very good at a racket sport (tennis) and obviously a lot of it is transferrable.
      It's not like some amateur tennis player can dominate pickleball or anything.

Tennis and table tennis coexist as Olympic sports, both are legitimate sports that require (different) skills. Why does there even need to be debate? Can't we just have tennis small, medium, and large, and wear whatever size fits us best?
