I def agree with the BFMV and Static X pick. A couple of my picks would be Rage Against the Machine - Self Tilted Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory Suicide Silence - The Cleansing
best doors album is An American Prayer idc it counts to me and it's transcendental, funny, frightening and tripping balls. Feels like I'm on a stoned roadtrip through the desert with Jim in the backseat guiding me.
I totally agree especially with Static X. Not metal at all but off the top of my head I'd say Interpol's first album 'Turn on the Bright Lights'. It had so much edge and experimental creativity, such a beautiful piece of art. I mean, the overlapped guitars, bass that does whatever it wants and aggressive angsty drums - with the perfect chefs kiss mixing and depressing vocal approach. Not a single song off that album doesn't hit you in the feels. Everything afterwards lost the edge and sounds very upbeat like something you'd hear on the radio
Interesting video. I agree with some of these choices. I’d say my choices are Led Zeppelin Debut Bush - Sixteen Stone Garbage Debut The Cranberries - Everybody Else Is Doing So Why Can’t We? Red - End of Silence (Kinda tied with I&I as my favorite nowadays) King Crimson - In The Court of the Crimson King
Man I wish the bands I liked had their first albums be their best 😅 I like a band called La Kinky Beat, they’re obscure but really cool, I wish more people would listen to them. Their first album is definitely their most popular but imo is pretty meh, Made In Barna. Their second album was also super forgettable, with only one good song, Vaffanculo. However their third album, Karate Beat, took them in a more dub and jungle direction and is my second favorite album ever (after Manu Chao’s Clandestino, a killer solo debut btw). It’s just an amazing album overall and the song “Quiero Sentirme Iluminada” is my favorite song ever. Their fourth and last album, Massive Underground, was heavily dub and reggae focused and while not as good as Karate Beat was still really good. I also like a French band from the 80s and 90s called Mano Negra (who the previously mentioned Manu Chao was the lead singer of), whose first album Patchanka was alright but super 80s cheese. But their second album, Puta’s Fever, is a masterpiece. Third favorite album for sure. Their third and fourth albums, King Of Bongo and Casa Babylon were worthy successors too. The final band I’ll be rambling about is evanescence, which is a bit of a break from the other two but eh 😅. I fuckin love evanescence, and I think fallen is a pretty great album, but The Open Door is definitely better.
@@rubif5797 huh interesting. One of their best for sure. Many killer songs on it like Ten Ton Hammer and Down To None but I got to go with Burn My Eyes.
Ratt - out of the cellar Dio - holy diver Cinderella - night songs Guns n roses - appetite for destruction Slaughter - stick it to yah Warrant - DRFSR Skid row - self title Firehouse - self title Trixter - self title Great white - self title
Lots and lots and lots. You can't recapture that hunger of an upstart band who aren't tired and bummed out by record label bullshit, endless touring, etc.
Life of agony - river runs red Guns and roses - appetite for destruction Bush - sixteen stone Alice In Chains - facelift Art of dying - vices and virtues Red - end of silence Candle box - candle box Chimaira - pass out of existence Creed - my own prison (probably going to get some looks for that one lol) Demon hunter - demon hunter Drowning pool - sinner (this one’s pretty obvious) Falloutboy - take this to your grave Hed planet earth - hed planet earth Juice wrld - goodbye and good riddance Puddle of mudd - come clean

Rage Against the Machine - Self Tilted
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory

@@Gravehouse69 right on. Rage is a tough one for me because I also really like Evil Empire.
The Doors is definitely on here

Garbage Debut
The Cranberries - Everybody Else Is Doing So Why Can’t We?
Red - End of Silence (Kinda tied with I&I as my favorite nowadays)
King Crimson - In The Court of the Crimson King
@@zachdproductions123 thanks. I definitely agree with Led Zeppelin. Red’s first two albums fight for being my favorite honestly.
I love Supervixen
Great list! I think that Static-x's first TWO albums are their best. Bullet for My Valentine first three albums are definitely their best.
@@tainted_lord87 Thanks. Yeah, can’t beat Wisconsin Death Trip and Machine. I think Start A War is really good too.

Evanescence’s Fallen is another good example of this.
totally agree with the static x take its much better than anything else they have made
@@buh1808 Yeah for sure. Machine and Start A War are also really good in my opinion but you just can’t beat Wisconsin Death Trip.
I'd personally say, Boston, Van Halen and Thirty Seconds to Mars' first albums were their best
I listened to "the more things change" by far most time, of all machine head albums.
I think the album is very good.
@@rubif5797 huh interesting. One of their best for sure. Many killer songs on it like Ten Ton Hammer and Down To None but I got to go with Burn My Eyes.
@@mjnation7876 i can't even explain why it hooked me so much more. Maybe the furiosity. But burn my eyes is a classic for sure.
I think, Razorblade Suitcase is by far the best Bush album
I agree 💯

I think Scream, Aim, Fire was better than The Poison.
System of a Down

Take This to Your Grave over From Under the Cork Tree? I don't know about that.
AIC has 3 albums (kinda) better than facelift
Facelift is so much more consistently good even if it only has 1 heavy hitter song compared to say dirt’s 3
Disagree. Ugly is better than River Runs Red.
