Good review guys! Like you say with some all season tyres fitted the sorento can handle some mild off-roading.
Cheers mate! We had alot of fun (and some unexpected thrills) making it. And yes, tyres really make a huge difference when trekking away from tarmac.
I have two KIA model, picanto and RIO 6speed, very nice safety features and good handling.
Indeed we do have a member using the Sportage GT diesel car, these are very good vehicles with generous spec. And they are competitively priced too. How do you find the ownership experience?

The road to Mossy Forest is not as treacherous as you might think. Even a bareback Axia can reach the top without much hassle.
Hi Chick Kam Loong, thank you for your comment! We are aware that some saloons do trek up this road, but in the interest of the car's life span and crucially on the grounds of safety, we must strongly insist that you do not attempt this road in this condition without a proper raised vehicle with 4wd. All you need is a slight drizzle to completely change the dynamics of the road. So yes it is as treacherous due to the variables of weather and the road's other physical attributes.

Is it worth buying this car for RM90k++ in 2022?
Absolutely, if anything we hoped the car would be cheaper, but looks like the value is holding pretty good.
