Daddy Cornstar, you make us feel like we're right with you. Prayers for you and your friends family in your grief. Thank you for being the support of so many families, as the caretaker of their loved ones. I admire you all so much.
About 7 years ago both of my parents passed together and suddenly. After picking where they would be buried I went and sat there, I was there for hours. I didn't want to go home because I didn't want it to be real. The care taker for the cemetery sat next to me when it had been about 8 hours and he brought me a drink then he just talked with me. Asked me to tell him about the kind of people my parents were. Asked questions about them and even told me some stories about his parents. He offered to pray with me even though I wasn't religious and I obliged, because it seemed harmless and it actually did help me feel a bit better. He did something for me that was completely above and beyond his actual job. People who take on the care of families when they are dealing with loss are doing an incredible service to people in their greatest hour of need. The care your family takes with each grave is incredibly caring.
DC, as one who also lost a sibling unexpectedly, I know for a fact that your caring assistance and concern are appreciated by the family, in situations like that there just are no words. 😔❤️
Oh, that was a rough ride u had losing both parents together. I’m sitting here balling my eyes out for you in that moment from your story where you’d been at their graves 8 hours.
@@alisonaussie4995 i was actually very fortunate that I was an adult when they passed. The other driver had small children who didn't get the opportunity I did. I miss them terribly, and I did have a very hard time getting through the actual funeral process. They filled my tool box, they made sure I always knew I was loved and they equipped me to be compassionate to the other family who lost someone that day especially since the accident had been his fault. I don't think I could have gotten off the ground that day without the cemetery grounds keeper coming and helping me start the process of literally and figuratively getting up. People who do these jobs aren't appreciated enough.
when i was 10 in 1948 we moved to van cleve iowa -- my dad was superintendant of the consolidated school -- all gone now from a huge tornado -- good memories -- we did our shopping in melbourne and marshalltown -- im reliving my childhood -- you guys are salt of the earth --
Wow! Can’t believe you’re almost done with your personal scrapyard! Exciting! Daddy Cornstar made me cry...big ‘ole heart of his. I’m sorry your friends lost a loved one. 🙏🏻
We had my Dad's family farm until his Mom passed away. As a kid, I didn't like helping in the gardens. But now I find it relaxing to go outside and work in the flower beds. Watching your videos remind me of my family going out and working the farm for my Grandma. Love the progress you are making on your farm.
Great video Cole, the lawn is coming together. Daddy Cornstar is a man to be respected, his love of God and Family and the willingness to help his fellow man and the sympathy and empathy that he show is truly refreshing in today's chaotic world. God Bless you all
Another awesome video Cole. Daddy corn star you are such a great guy Love the thoughtful how caring you are with the graves and the family's you help out i have lost loved ones myself so I know how easy it is to lose you words when you talking about such a sensitive subject. Thanks for another nice video.
It's always SO ENJOYABLE watching you get your yard cleaned up, Cole!!! It's amazing, the difference you've made, there! It's cool that you're making a lot of extra money, just taking all that metal to the scrap yard! Daddy Cornstar, you just about had me in tears, there, for a minute. It's so wonderful how much you care about the cemetery work. I'm sure it must be extra hard, when it's for someone you know. Thank you for this video, and for sharing your lives with us.
Daddy corn star..you are an awesome man...having lost an actual 37 meaningful people in my life over the past 5 months...I havebto give it to you...its been a horrible 5 months and I appreciate and applaud what you and your heart does for our loved ones...js..its been hard but folks like you make it much much easier.. much love
Hi there to the Cornstars! I’m new to the channel and am really enjoying it! Dad Cornstar reminds me of my father and the whole family reminds me of home, which is western N Dakota where wheat is the main crop. You all have such a great message, and our country needs more of this. I’ve been in Minneapolis for 12 years now, and when I watch you guys it’s almost comforting somehow. Thanks to you all and keep up the good work! You guys deserve the best.
I wish more young people these days had a work ethic like you. This younger generation could learn tons from you. Keep up the good work Cole love watching you all in the vids.
Hugs to you DC and the family who lost their loved one. It worries me that the virus numbers have gone up in Iowa. Please stay safe and strong. Sending ❤️to the Constar family and the wonderful Iowans. The yard is looking awesome, Cole!
Watching your videos sure gives me joy to see all that you do for others. I appreciate your dedication to each other and for those in your community that suffer from great loss. God Speed. Thank you for always making my day!
All respect for all the job you have , every day. And to be the one that people talk to, when a family member has gone out of history is not a easy job. Respect Daddy Cornstar. I wish you a great week. I load left Cole. Great work. Best wishes from Jan in Norway
I worked on a farm over a winter and very quickly grew to love and respect farm folk. This channel popped up for me and I saw that it is in Iowa, where my grandfather grew up. The Cornstars are great folks and are family in Christ. I've never been happier!❤️️🙏
My father and I used to farm several years ago. Probably close to 40 years ago. Dads in heaven and the farms have been sold but when I watch your videos it brings me back to a happy time when you could watch your products grow and there was nothing we couldn’t do. ( Building grain bind, mixing cement and replacing the wood floors in our barn, building gravity wagons and working down ground. My favorite thing to do was shell corn!!) Anyway thank you, So many years have passed by and different careers in my life. After farming I sold cars then was the sales manager for car dealerships I did this for over 20 years. Then in my late 40s decided to change careers and do something I always wanted to do. I took some classes passed and was hired as a Deputy Sheriff. Unfortunately after 8 years of service I got hurt on duty and was unable to return to duty. After 4 back surgeries I am classified disabled. I’m like most I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life and Praise God I’ve been forgiven!!! Like your family Jesus Christ is number 1 in our hearts and in our lives. That’s what makes your videos so special, your love of Jesus!!! Thank you for sharing your life and thank you for helping me remember the happy times with my dad farming. I didn’t tell you about being disabled for pity. My life is awesome!!! I can still get around I’m just a lot slower than before. My life is full because of Jesus Christ.
Good honest home-grown values you are a good manDaddy cornstarch.you all must respect each other in your community, lucky people, god bless you all. Xx
You are one hard working guy! You have inspired many people! Keep up the great work Cole!!!!!! You have also helped me to be a better hard working person!!
Wow. Cole, your yard looks amazing, and it's been therapeutic to watch you clean it up.. Really looking forward to see how you get to planting the lawn. And thank you Dayy Cornstar for caring so nicely for those who have had a death in their family. 💕
I’m sorry about the sudden loss of your friend, Daddy Cornstar. I’m sure you provided some comfort and a familiar face to the grieving family during their difficult task. 😢 ❤️
Daddy CornStar, your heart is huge! I wish the people who take care of my parents grave were as conscientious and caring as you! Thank you for being the kind soul that you are!
Hi Cole, just want you to know that you and your family are so wholesome, I feel like I'm a friend hanging out with you guys when I'm watching. Never change!
The best part of this video is Daddy Cornstar’s sensitive heart. I don’t know how y’all got into grave digging and management, but his empathy is perfect for the job. I got choked up with him.
DC, it must be hard to deal with things at the cemetery when it's someone you know. 😢 I'm sure it makes it easier for your friends when they know you are there to help them.
Dale Gereaux I have a good friend who’s nick name is digger and he works at a big cemetery. I think he took extra care for my wife’s Grandparents, then my parents when they died. It’s a big old cemetery the plots are tight when they have to put a concrete box in to put the casket in. The old wooden boxes cave in . Another problem they have, all of the sunken spots from the coffins, boxes are making the head stones fall over .
Your yard is looking lovely Cole! You have worked hard on it! I can envisage picnic dinners out there on the lawn watching the sun set! Perfection! Daddy Cornstar - it must be hard to deal with people you know in their loss. You have such a beautiful nature - kind and compassionate - I know that the grieving would find some comfort knowing that you are taking care of them at this stage of preparing to say goodbye.
A Cornstar video makes my day, always!! Loving the yard sculpturing. It’s looking great. Daddy Cornstar is the real deal. We love Nave! God bless you all!!!
Wonderful!!!! You got more scrap hauled out. I am real proud of you. Now just stage the remaining stuff to another spot to be processed. I can not wait to see it disc and all ready for seed. You have come a long way. Glad to see that your steel for the roof came and that the auger is ready!!!!😎😎😎😎👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cole the yard is looking better and better! Daddy corn star, sorry to hear about your friend family's loss, you guys are doing such an amazing job on that roof ! 😊👍💕💕💕
It’s hard when someone you know looses a loved one that you knew. God bless Daddy Cornstar’s heart. The are such a good caring kind Christian family. God bless them all.

Getting close looking good Cole Looks like your dad needs a hug from Ma Ma Cornstar that's a very emotional digging for someone you know it's a constant reminder live everyday likes your last. Because you just never know when you get older you think about things differently I have many talks with God I know when my father died that really hit me hard I miss him

Daddy Cornstar is a nice man. Cole, it's a dirty job but somebody has to do it. It's good you have Nava and Cooper to help you. Lots of work accomplished.
Nave!!! Bienvenido!! So glad you're back! Way to let Cole drive the skid loader while you did all the work! ;-) Reminds me of my rock picking days. Cousin's farm... so he drove the tractor and we picked the rocks out of the field.
Cole, your really do a great job of shaping the land. Amazes me what you can do with the various pieces of equipment. Daddy Cornstar, I feel your grief all the way through the camera.
Poor Daddy Cornstar... you have such a huge heart.
He looked very sad
Such an awesome Man.
It made me cry seeing him getting emotional 😢
I'm not gonna lie-I felt his grief too. And then his strength through it too.

Same here! Those Amazon boxes seem to multiply like rabbits. :)

Daddy Cornstar is a nice man. Cole, it's a dirty job but somebody has to do it. It's good you have Nava and Cooper to help you. Lots of work accomplished.

Me too. Hard job. But daddy Cornstar's heart is so big, the whole family is kind.
Nave!!! Bienvenido!! So glad you're back! Way to let Cole drive the skid loader while you did all the work! ;-) Reminds me of my rock picking days. Cousin's farm... so he drove the tractor and we picked the rocks out of the field.
Nice work on the yard and the ditch.
