Seriously! It might just be my emetophobia talking, but I'm a bit disappointed that they did this just on principle. It isn't 2010 and they aren't 19! 30-40 year old men doing viral internet challenges? Does anyone actually find this compelling content? It just seems pathetic to me.
@@sandpiperr to be fair I don’t watch this podcast for compelling content. I watch this podcast to laugh and watch grown men act like middle schoolers and get paid to do it.
We did the gallon challenge in college, all my roommates and I, only one of us completed the challenge and she was lactose intolerant lol. This was before almond milk and oat milk became widely popular. She decided on a half gallon of 2% and a half gallon of chocolate 2%. Not only did she finish, she finished with time to spare and did not throw up the entire day. She was basically wrecked but she got the dope ass banner we made for the winner 😂
I think my husband could do it, when we first got married he was a marine and would get home from their workouts and drink almost a full gallon of chocolate milk just in a couple minutes like it was no big deal.
I dated a guy who REGULARLY did the gallon challenge. Midsummer. While walking. Before an amusement park. Whenever. I Never saw him fail or vomit. It was Herculean.
CRAFTED BAGELS SHOUT OUT!!! Family owned and a pillar of the North Hollywood community! Best breakfast burritos 10/10. Jonathan has outstanding taste. As someone who lives in the valley it is my eternal goal to eventually run into someone from 2nd Try eventually
I know someone who passed from the challenge. My university had a milk chugging league a few years ago. Thankfully they stopped doing it after the incident.
This was on the same day as filming cold plunging in the Costco milk fridge?? Miles def serving king this episode. Laughed so much and felt so bad for Miles
You guys have discussed whole milk fat percentage on here before and i think i left the same boring comment: Whole milk is 3.25% fat. So 2% is not even half of whole milk. To give you an idea, cream is around 30-38% depending on the cream.
In college one of our pregames was "kario mart". Regular mario kart for wii but you need to finish your drink before you cross the finish line, and you can't drink while holding the wiimote
As someone who works in dairy marketing, and used to work for the California Milk Advisory Board, the milk marketing section really caught me off guard 😂
Also, milk consumption has decreased because soda started being mass produced and marketed! Milk at the dinner table isn’t a thing like it used to be because there are so many options for beverages now!
11:29 back in the day I would “pull trig” almost every time I drank. But that’s when I drank jagar regularly 😂 another lifetime, now I’m watching ms Rachel, singing wheels in the bus with my toddler
zach is right about beer pong and for my engineering senior design expo in college my team designed "auto-pong" that was a beer pong table that basically auto filled a drinking cup every time a ball landed in the playing cups...we had high school students who were visiting the expo basically playing beer pong...it was a hit!
In HS theatre, we had a student awards called “Elsies” and the winners chug a glass of milk. The winner for GRAND Elsie chugs the rest of the gallon… I’ve known two people who’ve finished the rest of the gallon without puking afterwards
My youth group did a challenge where they had people competing to see who could eat a bunch of moonpies and a gallon of milk the fastest Also - there’s a thing swimmers do where they drink a bunch of gatorade and then swim as many laps as they can until the have to throw up
So..... at my high school the runners used to do the "Chocolate Milk Mile" every year. Chug a glass of milk, run a lap, repeat three more times to complete the mile.
I grew up with a story that the gallon challenge killed a woman who drank the whole thing for a radio challenge so this episode was very stressful for me 😂😂
I've always wondered how Matt Leblanc downed most of a full gallon of milk in about 30 seconds in that Friends episode. I know a lot of it runs down his front, but he's getting at least 3/4 of that gallon jug down in half a minute, which is insane.
In my country, milk and other liquids come in 1 litre packaging. There are a few that come in 2 litres. 1 gallon aka 3.78541 litres is too much. How do u finish it before the expiry date?! I guess useful for large families who eat cereal every morning
Sooooo can you do the milk challenge with alternative milks? Cuz i think this would be easy with unsweetened almond or soy milk. 🥛 And can i add flavours like coffee or tea lol🧋
Kaylin- did you happen to go to a Christian camp called Snowbird?! I’ve been there- and they puke milk into the little creek, and I remember praying there too! It was after their revelation skit, which was very intense!!
I know EXACTLY what Miles means about the sound of throwing up. The last time I was in the ER I threw up a couple of times and I felt so bad because I was in an open area of the ED and I am not a quiet puker. My sister is WAY worse than I am tho, she basically yell-pukes 😂 I truly envy the folks who can do it quietly.
Miles has never been quieter then when the guys were talking about people dying from milk consumption and was frantically googling "has anyone died from drinking a gallon of milk"
The fact that Miles did this and then stood in the Costco Milk Fridge for an hour long later the same day. 😂
I DIDNT CONNECT THE DOTS OMG THATS SO IRONIC
I was about to comment the same thing. Hilarious that he tortured himself in two ways that day
This was painful and scary to watch and I loved every minute
😂 wow thats hilarious, I didn't connect the dots either
@@emmaboucher6223Definitely not a correct usage of ironic. Coincidental or serendipitous would work, though.
Jonathan is like the substitute teacher just trying his best
"I'll give you a hint...he was french."
"oh.. croissant 😌"
I'm weak 😭
“Rainie’s not here!”
Genuinely considers turning the ep off🤣🤣
then jonathan popped up so we stayed lol
Same
I knew by 45 seconds in that Raine wasn’t there. Just chaos already.
Mom is gone- unleash the chaos.
Rainie brings controlled chaos. This is full blown
literally was going to comment "too much male energy, bring rainie back." hahah
CHAOS
I’m here for learning that miles tried chugging a gallon of milk before going to cold plunge in the Costco walk in cooler 😂
for the fellow emetophobia girlies: there is NO vom at all, shown nor heard!
Thank you 🙏🏻
You are my hero thank you ❤ minute 49 got me NERVOUS!
Thank you!
thank you!!!
Thank you!!!
knowing miles did this before the costco cold plunge is so harrowing
I appreciate Zach looking out for us emetophobia girlies 😭
So much!

Listening to this while milking all my goats was WILD hahaha 😂

Oh she’s got two truths and a lie down hahahaha
The half chocolate was a pro gamer move, that would motivate me to move mountains lmao
I love how they talked about drinking milk for an hour. Peak content 😂
I love when you leave boys alone what happens. Rainie keeps these boys in line 😂
I can’t believe this is jonathans first hosting of the trypod and his golden idea is the gallon challenge.
Jonathan? You mean, Eugene’s potential step-dad?
Johnathon doesn't quite finish the question
Zach "piss"
Keith "cheese"
Miles "yogurt" 😂
Came here right after Miles Dairy fridge cold plunge 😂
What did I miss?
@popgem Also curious what I missed ? Is it maybe a patreon thing ?
my realisation when he said he has to film something at costco later 😭😭
@@miguistikerms@kathyjones2642 its a miles bonsignore channel thing
@@miguistikerms it's on Miles's own channel
I just want the team to know that I watched this episode while working from a Whole Foods, so I was SURROUNDED by milk
the cut to keith at 42:35 and seeing smiley bouncy ball chilling on the mic made me so happy 😂
I’m here to watch my favorite boy chug a gallon of milk… 😂
came from the audio-only version to say this was the most insane episode to visually imagine
Love that Keith keeps doing little helps so miles doesn’t have to think about it- it’s the eat the menu empathy 🤣
I dated a guy who REGULARLY did the gallon challenge. Midsummer. While walking. Before an amusement park. Whenever. I Never saw him fail or vomit. It was Herculean.
Can we get Jonathon in here more often please??
Yay Jonathan Is here hallelujah. We love him. Best episode just for him being here.
Why did miles singing “it’s gotta be bread” make me chuckle so hard
The absence of Rainie was Immediately palpable even before they said anything; she is a powerful creature.
I think if we knew that the cold plunge in the costco milk room was with a belly full of milk... way more impressive... 😂😂
LOVED having Jonathon!! He was great and brought so much to the pod. Joe he comes back as the podcast gremlin whenever Rainie has to be gone.
the moment the podcast started i was like “somethings different…I don’t think Rainee is here,”😂
every thurday i watch these episodes while having brunch. i think i need to change my routine.
Is it just me or am I the only one conditioned by American media to say “Chug! Chug! Chug!”?
In Canada we don't say chug, we say 'Gulpididitee! Gulpididitee!'
Keith: "Can you all even think right now of someone you consider an enemy?"
Zach (with feeling): "Yes."
Do you think Ned's ears started ringing?
Yes, milk has sugar. Lactose is sugar, the -ose at the end indicating it's a sugar, like table sugar is called sucrose with an -ose ending as well.
Omg Jonathan calling the emperor of France a nepo-baby almost made me choke hahaha that is so fucking funny holy shit
Currently sick and worried that I’m going to follow Miles over the cliff
CRAFTED BAGELS SHOUT OUT!!! Family owned and a pillar of the North Hollywood community! Best breakfast burritos 10/10. Jonathan has outstanding taste. As someone who lives in the valley it is my eternal goal to eventually run into someone from 2nd Try eventually
The absolute terror that ensued after Miles sneezed fucking sent me into the next solar system 😂
Can we PLEASE get more Jonathan 😭
Can we bring boring old Jonathan off the bench more! He was hilarious! 🙌
I know someone who passed from the challenge. My university had a milk chugging league a few years ago. Thankfully they stopped doing it after the incident.
the worst part is y’all DONT KEEP THE MILK COLLD?? No like ice bucket for the gallon??? YALL
I fell asleep to this and my first thought when I woke up was "did he finish the milk"
This was on the same day as filming cold plunging in the Costco milk fridge?? Miles def serving king this episode. Laughed so much and felt so bad for Miles
Johnathan was fun!
Listened earlier today in the car, had to come see poor Miles looking like a sick old lady 😆
You guys have discussed whole milk fat percentage on here before and i think i left the same boring comment:

In 274 episodes, this is probably the first time I wish I just listen to the audio….
In college one of our pregames was "kario mart". Regular mario kart for wii but you need to finish your drink before you cross the finish line, and you can't drink while holding the wiimote
I hope Rainey feels better soon ❤❤

So stoked to be watching on RUclips. Last 2 I've listened thru second try. So chose wisely
also yeah now we know miles stood in the costco AFTER DRINKING THENMILK LMAOOOO
23:00 platypus and echidnas are mammals who don’t produce milk!

More Jonathan please 🥺
Oregon's State drink is milk.
Zach squealing for a little vegan treat literally cured my depression
Every time Zach mentions anything about his college experience, the fact that he went to Emerson just makes more and more sense 😂😂
Keith: Miles please don’t do this.
Zach: If Miles dies, do you think we’ll get a Wikipedia page?
The fact that this is the same day as the cold plunge is hilarious
When Miles asked for water i knew it was over!
This episode was unhinged in the best way 😂😂
I legit was already drinking WHOLE milk @ work when I turned this episode on!
Miles is the reason Rainie had to make the stay humble episode
