I use both the regular and MiM BGS. With all products I use, I shake them up or even massage the bottle. Sometimes ingredients will separate and cause a product to be gritty, runny, etc. I also emulsify it on the back of my hand before applying it to my face.

I second the BGS. I was very excited about it at first but it did sit on top of my skin like an old cheap coat! It’s definitely not matte I looked like an oil slick!
I use the original BGS in the winter and it saved my skin from the winter cold. I think it works like the Vaseline my mom would put on my face when I was a kid
The white cast on the Cera Ve sunscreen is off the chain. When I apply it mixed with my moisturizer or serum tho I have no white cast. That’s my trick to make it work. I use it because it’s cheap and a trusted brand and most importantly…SPF 50. I use the 50 not the 30

Yeah I use the kids version (pretty much the same as original but cheaper?) but on my hands and everywhere else except my face if necessary because the oiliness? Not a fan.
They are telling the truth about the cerave tinted spf. I couldn't believe how white the cast was and it felt like a masque. Embarrassing and obvious. My family was like, what's going on 😂? Nahhhh. So far have been doing well with the cosrx aloe spf 50+ and the pyunkang yul 50+ bit would like to find comparable results for less 💰 😊
Those reviews on Kylie Skin are foul. I’m 33 and got heavy into skincare during the pandemmy… bought the entire collection with my one of my stimulus checks. The foaming cleanser is quite stripping so probably not the greatest for dry skin babes. The milk toner is the product I have repurchased the most followed by the clarifying oil. The moisturizer is as simple a formulation as one can be and the eye cream wasn’t anything to ride home about, but it gives the moisture that I needed for my under eyes.
These reviews were not too bad, surprisingly. As far as the Cerave reviews goes, I wonder if they know the common nature of mineral spf. Great video! Thanks for sharing 😊
I tried the small supergoop spf 40 setting refreshing mist. The reviews are correct in regards to the sprayer top, it sprays horribly. The only good thing for me is that it left my skin with a dewy look.. but that’s it
I haven't tried the BGS make it matte but I do use the kids. It has SPF 50. As for the PTR product, there are similar products and the problem with them seems to be if you use oil based makeup on top, it doesn't work. Dr Dray revealed the KylieSkin sunscreen after people kept saying it was a dupe of the Goop one (which is supposedly a dupe of another brand). She said it wasn't bad.
I use original BGS. I have oily skin so it makes me really shiny. I just deal with it since it is the best I have used. I rather use it for the body though. I don’t really like the supergoop sunscreen since it peels on me sometimes. I’ll like to try the spray though.
I tried BGS. I am black with combination skin. The first time I tried it, the product came out as an oil. I didn’t realize at the time that it had melted because the location I was in was hot. I may have been in my car and maybe the bag I had it in was near the vent. The next time I tried it, it came out as a gel. I did have a little glow but I was okay with it because I don’t wear makeup. So comparing it to the Trader Joe’s matte sunscreen it’s not as matte. But I definitely will buy it again.

I tend to take reviews seriously but like you I read them and filter to find those who relate to me. I don't know of I said this here before but there was a femty skin hand cream product that I liked except for the packaging chipping off. I noted that on the sephora website and when I tell you the number of dislikes I got? I didn't know the Navy went that hard just the Beyhive! 😆
At the very top of the crap list should be Cetaphil Mineral Sunscreen, closely followed by Aveeno positively mineral and CeraVe mineral sunscreen. Unless you want to look like the joker from the Batman series, hold on to your wallet please.

I use the kids black girl sunscreen. It works well for me not greasy at all.

That CeraVe does have a laughable white cast and I have fair skin lol. But I can use makeup on top and it's great.
That cerave turned me into an ashy looking ghost. The bgs works for my dry /combo skin but honestly, banana boat sport does too and is half the cost.

I only use the BGS for the gym or early morning walks when I am avoiding makeup. Would never use under makeup as it’s so oily.

Supergoop sunscreen gave me the worst forehead acne ever, I’m still recovering from the scars.
BGS has a new hybrid sunscreen, chemical and mineral. Also… they came out with a sunscreen lipgloss, which I love!
I had the mini size of the Supergoop spray back in 2019/2020 and it was fine. Didn't have any of the problems the reviews mentioned.

I did buy the CeraVe sunscreen. I am black but have a light complexion. The sunblock made me look like a zombie.

I have dry/combo skin. I would not like something that just sits on top of my skin. Rosacea doesn’t do well with that type of product.
