The fact in 2024 I can go on RUclips and find a former FAA certified mechanic to fix my problems with a second hand machine from 2006 blows my mind. If I could pay you for this I would
The most frustrating thing about these machines is that the lever is covered up. On my regular sewing machines, that lever is out in the open and threading it is easy. You can easily see if the thread isn't caught somewhere. Whenever I thread my embroidery machine, most of the threading is under all that plastic and I don't know if it's correct or not. Now I'm having issues and I want to SEE where my thread lies. Thank you for this video. I'm going to take the covers off and see if what's going on under the hood. Maybe I've got some dust, or old thread in there.
My problem is further up inside the tension disc itself..it is really tight and the thread does not flow thru..started all of a sudden. There is not any thread fray inside. Is it advisable to use sewers aid machine oil?
Thank you for the video. Very helpful for checking that I have threaded my machine correctly.

Very good info. I have the. Quattro and the nq1700e so I imagine it is the same set-up. Thank you.

Thank you for your service sir, and this video also.
Why does the thread jump out of clamp 6 so much
Watch my latest video on #6 thread spring replacement.
Are these still decent machines to pick up used for $300 with all the hoops and thread?
If in good working order. Look for total stitch count by pressing "page" icon
