Hi Nomadic, sorry for the late response. I am wondering if you managed to fix it. Do you use it on Mac or Windows PC? I know with Macs, the controller may be problematic with a USB-C to USB-C cable, though. If the connection is all okay and the controller is powered on, you should see the input once you start the calibration in Liftoff. (Options> Controls> Controller>Calibrate) Have you tried with a different cable? Maybe the solution is simple, and I would like to help.
Hi, unfortunately, as far as I know, you cannot use any DJI Goggles with Liftoff or any other simulators except DJI Virtual Flight. Is not that the Goggles could not work within Liftoff or other sims, but DJI does not want to support such connections.
You can give it a try, but I wouldn’t recommend the Virtual Flight that much (except for the fact that you can use the Goggles). It’s poorly optimised compared to Liftoff and other simulators. Even training into Liftoff without goggles seems like a practical approach. It’s much better and you’ll have a greater experience overall.
@@fpvsimulators yea, I am having hard time connecting only goggle to sim. My idea was to do some with-goggle practice in liftoff but there is no way to that. Also not sure how I can connect Radio master zorro controller with it. Looks like have to get a drone itself and give a try. Can I connect Radiomaster zorro controller with integra and geprc cinewhoop(cinebot30). How compatible are they. Thanks
@@KenleighPanjo You can connect the Radiomaster Zorro with the Cinebot 30 only if there's matching radio protocols (ELRS, Crossfire) between your radio and the drone receiver. As for using the Integra, I guess the drone needs to have the DJI digital transmission system (unsure which one is fully compatible with integra, DJI always messes up firmware updates and compatibilities - it's never clear but should work). But afaik, the Radiomaster Zorro should work with Liftoff without the need to connect to the drone or anything else. But it won't work with the DJI Virtual Flight though.
When I plug my dji remote controller 2 into my computer, it just charges and I cannot get it to register in liftoff. I have update to the most recent firmware as of today. Any advice?
Hi, sorry for late response. You have to turn it on (I always do before plugin in). Beware that I had a lot of problems with USB-C to USB-C direct cables; basically for my Mac none is working. But I have USB-C (controller) to USB-A plus USB-A to USB-C dongle and works perfectly, if you cannot connect to USB-A on your computer. Furthermore, even if you connect it, you need to calibrate the controller in Liftoff, other ways is not working.
Hi. This I’m not sure, because it was already registered the drone and linked the RC when I first used the simulator. But on all I know and I believe, this should work as normal with Liftoff, even if you have unlinked controller. Just beware that you’ll need to do some setup and calibration for the controller to be recognised in Liftoff. Sorry for delayed response.
There's a lot of misinformation saying you need a drone to bind an FPV2. If you don't have the drone or the goggles yet you can connect it to your computer and bind it online to your DJI account. You will need to do this if you buy the controller without a drone to fly in the simulator before actually buying your drone and goggles.
I've become stabile on another sim but I'm flying and spinning all over the place in liftoff. Is there a beginner setting or a drone thats easiest to fly?
Hi. If you are flying in acro mode, you will eventually get used to it. liftoff is more difficult to fly than other simulators, and gives you some real training to help learn FPV. The one thing I’m thinking you could change is rates. But that may confuse you. I recommend checking the following article I wrote fpvcraft.com/best-settings-for-liftoff-simulator/ Hope this helps. Sorry for late response and if you have any questions at all, feel free to ask!
That’s a common issue, not only with this DJI FPV RC 2 but most FPV radios in simulators, both with Liftoff and other sims. Only a few axis are recognised, and usually the cogwheel can be assigned, but I couldn’t find a way to assign other buttons. Maybe it’s a trick I have missed it? I’ll have to look more into it.
Im in communication with the developer of liftoff and he is saying the dji RC2 will not work. Idk if you and other youtubers are bsing us for views or if you know something the devopler dosent about dji rc2 and liftoff.

Please pay a bit more attention next time before making these kind of accusations.

Hi! Yes, you can use the controller directly without any goggles, without issues.
It performs unwanted drift
