Mike patton did the same thing way before he did, mic in his throat and everything, but patton was farther up and if he fell he would have fallen on the crowd and hurt them or himself. The lead singer of dillinger looks up to patton and that is why patton sings on a dillinger ep. Love this band and anything extreme and abrasive with heavy syncopation. They really have had a great career, one of those bands I always come back to.
I love that they actually play the cues like the triangle and the tambourine live. It really adds something to the performance. I feel like most bands would bypass those little things in live performances.
